I would like to file a complaint. I have been was overcharged. Horrible experience from the beginning. I will file a claim with the better business bureau. I was lied to multiple times. I am very upset that the rates were not explained when I asked before renting the truck. Not only that but the staff was rude and made me stand there and wait forever while they handled everything else in the middle of me checking out. Horrible customer service. Truck was very dangerous to drive. Breaks were worn, air was low in both front tires. I did not feel safe driving it. I have rented bigger u-hauls in the past and never had issues. They told me it was a sensor that needed replaced. It was calling for both front tires being extremely low and it drove as if it was. I told them about it. They informed me they do not intend to fix that anytime soon. So the next person will probably crash it.

Rescheduled an appointment. They moved it to the wrong location somehow. Went to Reschedule and they double the price on me for a rear mount hitch install. They really don't want me as a customer then ill go elsewhere!

The staff was very friendly and hepdil, even when we decided to change units after one had been assigned. They switched our unit with no problem.

The crew at this location is so friendly and helpful! Uhaul is probably a uhaul but the people at locations make all the difference. Seems like they need a raise to keep them around!

Guy behind the counter acted like I didn’t even exist. He obviously hates his job terrible customer service. Told me to pull around with the trailer I waited and waited never came to check like he told me he would. They need to pick a better person to work behind the desk.

They charged me for 7 times the number of miles than I actually drove the truck and would not correct the error - just kept telling me that is how many miles I drove even when I provided more than one form of proof that it was untrue. Was not willing to make it right at all.

The two employees were nice and handled a not so nice individual. However, I walked up to the counter with my friend who was driving the truck for me, I was paying. She asked for my license, and then asked for his. On the final paperwork, we realized that he was never listed as an official driver. This could have been severely problematic for me because of someone not filling out their side of paperwork correctly. Double-check your process and understanding of the situation.

Helen at store 767025 was extremely helpful. There was a mistake on my reservation and she called me at least 5 times until the issue was resolved and the reservation was totally closed out. She went above and beyond and I can’t thank her enough.

I am giving 1 star for multiple reasons. Firstly, I was overcharged for miles I did not use. The price for a cargo van with the safe-move insurance is about $35 all together. Seeing that it's $0.89/mile and we only used about 20 miles before dropping the van off, I should have only been charged about $53-55 in total. I checked my Uhaul receipt and the charge was $111... Secondly, I spent way too long trying to get in touch with the manager at the North Canton location and was continuously transferred to their corporate line instead. Corporate could not reach the North Canton Uhaul either after several times of trying to reach them. This was not a good look whatsoever.
Thirdly, after days of waiting, I received an email that stated I was being refunded only $28.. This wasn't even close to the amount I should have been refunded, not to mention I did not receive a call back, nor an explanation. So I had to call again, was transferred to their corporate line and then an associate put a note in to the manager at the North Canton location once again to refund me the proper amount. I finally received a call from the North Canton manager, Rosie, who told me I was only being refunded an extra $8... This totals out at around $37 refunded. This means that in the end, I was charged $73.72 for a cargo van only using 20 miles.. I'm still owed roughly $18..
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this Uhaul or any Uhaul for that matter. This was my first time using their service to move furniture and it has been an absolute nightmare. The North Canton location and their general manager should be investigated by corporate for misplacing funds and never answering the phone.

My movers showed up and tried to add hidden fees and hold my stuff hostage for 4 to 7 days. What ever would we do? We went straight to Uhaul who got us setup within minutes with a truck for a total saving of $1000. I highly appreciate them and everything they did.
