Internet kept going out 3-4 times a day. They would charge huge fees for going over data that I had no idea about. Finally decided to call to cancel service and got lectured for 15 minutes about how horrible T-Mobile will be and how I’ll be calling them back soon to sign up with them again. Then not even a week later received a bill for $400 for the the equipment I tried to return but the office was closed the day I went.

This company honestly might be the worst internet company in the area. First they bought out my road so no one else can sell interent [ which is somehow not illegal ]. Pay $100 a month for internet that would be $50 anywhere else. Only give a max upload speed of 20 no matter the plan. They can just do this because they are the only ones we can buy from. I have had to call them 6 times over the last 3 years for the same issues. They love to thottle your internet, then say they don't. If you have the option to not get this plan DO NOT. It's a waste of money...

Paying for a service that is constantly not working. Switching service providers seems to be the only solution. Would not recomend armstrongs services to anyone

We got a new box in one year ago. Ever since we had to change over, we had nothing but issues.Says no Internet connectionFreezes up all the timeWe're paying $300 a month and run 2 business so this is a huge problem.We even got pods to make Internet run strong but, it's all Armstrong cable.Our taped TV shows we can't even watch because they never work. We always have to do catch up and then miss half of the shows.This needs to get fixed because this is ridiculousThis needs to get fixed because this is ridiculous.No one ever wants to come out and when they do they say nothing's wrong with our system while, some things obviously wrong.

I want to update my post since it has been a close to a decade since I had last used Armstrong, no surprise the rating is still the same.I am forced to use their services due to living in the boardman area, and due to my work I need to be connected, for the past month I have had nothing but issues with the connection, first they blame my modem which has not had any issues until recently, so they have me use one of their modems, now I am paying for 1gbps speed, which I don't expect to get that high at every moment, but it would be nice if my speed wasn't sitting at 90mbps at all time of the day. This is pathetic I tried to voice a complaint with the support and all they can tell me is to just connect directly to the modem. I have a family that uses the wifi regularly so having just one machine online will not cut it, this ISP is a mistake having a chokehold on the area, I would have happily switched to a different ISP if they were allowed in my area.

I would give zero stars. They came and installed the fiberoptics on Monday come Friday we lost a lot of channels . Everything was fine before this and no tech can get out to the house til next Monday. They used to come out on weekends and whenever you needed them . Prices go way up and now less service . I don't even want to get started with the csr. Awful customer service if your going to charge an arm and leg for cable at least have better service. I can understand if it was something that I did but this isn't my fault .

Beyond terrible service anymore. Our upload speed has not been over 1mbps in at least 3 weeks, and most of the time it's under 100kbps. Every device we have will not hold a connection for more than a few minutes before they either error out or just infinitely load. We had a hard time getting them to send someone out here, and the internet has only gotten worse since then. The tech replaced all the equipment we had, and nothing has improved only gotten worse. The tech kept insisting that one of our devices was causing the issue which is ridiculous. We have only changed 1 device in the last 6 months and prior to that, nothing for 2 and a half years. It is clearly on their end and they won't acknowledge it. They won't even send someone to check the wires. They are supposedly putting fiber internet in Austintown, so maybe that is the issue. There have been trucks in our area putting wires up, and since our issues began right after that, I think they screwed something up while doing that. When you call, it seems like they just want you to wait until the fiber is online, but we have no clue when that will be. Our internet has been unusable for 3 weeks, and they won't do anything to fix it. I'm tired of them insisting it's not on their end. We have multiple streaming services that are pretty much a waste of money right now because the internet is spotty at best. I don't know how their television ads can call their service so great.This has now been going on for 2 months now. We've had at least 4 visits, and I can't even begin to guess the number of times we've called. I have no words to describe how much I loathe this incompetent company. I'm supposed to be completing continuing education for my license and I'm struggling to use simple web pages on a wireless or wired connection. Our wired and wireless won't stay connected more than an hour or two at a time. It's so nice paying for streaming services, ps plus, and internet that I can't use. Oh wait, it's not.It's been a few days since my last edit and we now get less than 1gbps UPLOAD AND DOWNLOAD. I'm done being nice. I don't know what you lying, lazy, incompetent, scamming morons are doing over there but enough is enough. These are WIRED numbers that are this bad. I can't even do anything work related right now, nor can I use any apps or download any games I want to play. I'm paying for so much I can't use. Absolute scam. I can't tell you how many times we've called, and all we've been rewarded with is worse service. If it was viable to use my MOBILE HOTSPOT on my phone for internet instead I would because that has been providing emergency internet for me because yours only works a few minutes at a time.Our upload speeds have been nonexistent since the the of August. It's November 17th and these idiots are now somehow providing even worse service. Our internet goes out completely every day at least once, and today it won't work at all. Verizon can't come to austintown soon enough. I need the internet for work, but that doesn't matter to armstrong apparently.
