My son had his 2005 Toyota RAV serviced here. The end determination is that the vehicle was not worth fixing due to age and other issues. I had to drive in from Mid-Michigan to tow the vehicle home. I could not make the trip for a few days so they allowed me to park the vehicle on their lot. When I showed up to retrieve the vehicle I was in the lot trying to figure my best course of action when their staff actually came outside and assisted me in moving the RAV (wasn’t running), loading the RAV on a trailer and getting me back on my way home. The staff was polite, professional and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for the help!

I own seven vehicles, this is the only shop I go to. I went in expecting to pay a lot of money for a complicated repair, Jay looked at the car fixed it in a couple hrs and for about half the expected price. It is good to have a mechanic that has morals and wants to help people out not take them to the cleaners. No way I would go to another shop.

This place was great the first time I went. They offered transparent pricing and clear communication. I trusted them to do more work on my car recently, only to realize I was overcharged. They billed me for diagnostics even though I had already explained the issue, and I ended up paying almost twice what they quoted me for the same maintenance less than two years ago. Just be wary.

I've been bringing my car to Advanced Diagnostics for a year now, and I can't say enough good things about them. Their service and staff - and integrity - are second to none! Jay Petek is professional and personable, always providing the customer with solid information and affordable options, and technicians are thorough and courteous. They've caught details other garages have missed, and have even saved me hundreds of dollars on several different repairs. The office staff (Tammy and Laura) are wonderful, fully explaining every detail and making the whole experience easy to navigate. I won't bring my cars anywhere else, and I'll be sure to tell all my friends, too!

Not only did Advanced Diagnostics get my vehicle in and have it repaired in one day, but the cost of labor was only half of the total cost of the parts. And since it was a fairly hot day and they knew I would be riding my bike in to pick up the vehicle, they had an ice cold bottle of water waiting for me as I walked in which alone was very much appreciated. All three of the young ladies I interacted with on the phone and at the counter were very considerate and pleasant to deal with, and the car seems to be operating very well and is once again a pleasure to drive.
I must have passed the shop on Lorain Road by a thousand times but never even noticed it was there before. I therefore also owe a debt of gratitude to Rob the Mobile Car Mechanic who recommended them, since the work that needed to be done required a lift. So thanks both to Rob and Advanced Disgnostics for everything. How nice it is to have a couple of good, honest mechanics to fall back on when in a bind!

We’ve been bringing our cars to Advanced Diagnostics for about 2 years now and I recommend them every chance I get. They’re always pleasant and courteous and take the time to explain any issues/work to be done. We’ve felt their prices were fair and their recommendations were genuine. No one likes to need car maintenance or repairs done but we’ve been incredibly happy having the work done here when needed.
We also particularly like that they provide photos and description breakdowns for service online so we can see what they’re explaining if we aren’t on site. It’s also great to refer back to when needed.

I have found a great auto repair shop FINALLY!!! They will go above and beyond to fix any issue you may be having. My older CRV (2012) needed some serious work done. Timing chain and all that goes with it, rack and pinion, wheel bearings and a few other minor things. They under promised and OVER delivered on the time expected to fix the car, I was able to look at all the old parts parts they replaced (who does that anymore) and what I saw was an accident waiting to happen! So glad I found an honest mechanic. My mechanic Angelo was friendly and took the time to explain what needed to done with great attitude. I will recommend Advanced Diagnostics to looking to have work done.

This is by far the most honest, fairly-priced auto shop that I have ever gone to. Jay was able to diagnose the problem with my car and fix it the same day. He didn't try to sell me any services I didn't need, and even noticed that one of my brake lights was out as I was getting ready to pull out of the parking lot. He had me pull back and and replaced the light at no charge. I recommend this shop to anyone and everyone.
