What a great vet. My beagle and I went there because he was having problems with his hind legs, he couldn't really control them. Dr. V. Checked him out and figured out he had a disc problem, she gave him some steroids and he got better. We thought he was a gonner but he's so much better. If you need a vet see Dr. V.

Took us in for a walk in grooming with a very nervous doggie who was sprayed by a skunk. The lady (Lynn) who took him was so nice, patient and handled him perfectly! Really helpful and they saved the day!

So many good experiences here, with the staff. But I don't enjoy Dr V. or Rochelle. So rude and condescending. Also, super overpriced. I want the best for my dog, but I also want to be able to feed him after I leave the vet! I don't expect to be robbed after every visit. My final experience was over the phone and it was enough for me. I called Bretton Ridge and asked if Mochi should be on supplements as a precautionary measure since poms are prone to skin and dental issues. Nothing major, just fish oil, vitamins, omega 3 and 6, and you know, stuff like that. The receptionist (Rochelle I think her name was) acted like I was being so silly. This was the final straw for me. I don't like feeling like I'm constantly advocating for my pet and that I'm constantly on the defensive if I have a damn question. And I've put up with A LOT from this clinic when they acted like a shady mechanic and took a $250 neutering (which is STILL expensive for a dog that's under 15lbs) and made it $680. $680!!! To neuter a Pomeranian!!! Dr. V ordered extra unnecessary bloodwork and X-rays. She claimed he needed X-rays to check his lungs before the surgery bc he gets this wheeze and it's worse in the winter. But she had told me a month prior that it's just a reverse sneeze and not to worry about it. Suddenly, before surgery, it's cause for concern? Those x-rays cost me over $200. Apparently it takes a separate fee to take the damn picture, and another fee to read the damn x-rays. How ridiculous is that? And when I complained about the rising cost, she said, "If you can't afford to take care of your dog, I'll gladly take him." HOW DO YOU SAY THAT TO SOMEONE?! (And it wasn't a joking tone.) In my first visit ever, this vet also assumed Mochi had some sort of trauma and feared his ears being touched... we touch them all the time. He's totally chill. During the next appointment she thought I took her advice to "work on getting him used to his ears being touched" (I didn't. We treated him like we always do) and she was soooo happy we did the homework (we didn't) and that he was used to his ears being touched now (which, he always was). I'm all for heading a doctor's advice, but this was bull. Also! I forgot to mention! When I first got him, I would make sure to watch a stool. I wanted to make sure he was free of worms. Especially since he was having that wheezing issue. I took him to the vet, they tested him, and the results came back negative. That's fine. The worms are probably too small. But the next week I saw them in his stool. So I called the vet again to get him in, and she acted like I was being so stupid. But I insisted that they test another stool sample. So I took it in, and lo and behold, he was positive for worms. Which I knew because I saw it in his feces!!! So they give me a pill medication. I asked for a liquid bc it's easier and faster to administer. She insisted on the pill. That was an ordeal and a half. (Unnecessary if there's a liquid form too!) He would cough up the pill after I put it in his throat. She finally gave in and gave me a liquid. Success! So easy, and worm free in no time!!! But I kept him there with her as a vet bc she came highly recommended. She's even listed on the AKC site. Now she's acting like I'm being silly bc I asked about supplements! I shouldn't have to constantly feel like I'm on the defensive when I'm worried about my dog's health. And I don't think I'm being "difficult" but asking simple questions. Ha. But me asking about supplements is too much. So I switched. I can't help but think some my treatment it has to do with my skin tone and the fact I wear a hijab. (And no, I'm not just playing the race/religion card.) There's this bias that I come across often that brown people are bad at caring for animals. I did a quick search when thinking about that what I'm trying to say: She made me feel like a bad pet own

I switched vets to Breton Ridge and am so glad I did. I have a big pup who gets anxious at the vets and I was concerned how he would be the first time going there. The Vet Tech and Vet were awesome with both dogs I brought in to be seen. They also saw my third fur child previously and did equally well with him. They knew the tricks of the trade to help calm my big guy and as a result the appt went pretty darn smooth. I so appreciate them and their flexibility and understanding. These dogs are like my kids and I'm fortunate to have found a great place to care for them. Thanks a million!!

Finding a vet clinic after moving to a new town is a challenge, but after our first appointment here, I feel so comfortable with this staff. They took time to make my dogs comfortable, and really cared to provide a positive experience. The vet is amazing. The techs and office staff were super friendly, and the facility was spotless. I'm so glad to have found a new vet. Highly recommend!

She's so sincere and truly loves animals. I trust that she's not going to pile on stuff i don't need for more money. She's always so caring and even goes out of the way to teach better pet care, like when she teaches me how to cut my cats claws. My husband and I are such fans!

We have taken our dog there for 12 years. He was a shepard border collie mix. An alpha dog that would fight than flight. He would need to be muzzeled by other vets but not Dr. Viskocil. She got on the floor with him and gained his trust. He was recently euthanized. They were so thoughful and compasionate. If we get another dog Im going back
