“I want to take a moment to recognize Bill for providing truly outstanding customer service at Goodwill. From the very first time I met him, he was always warm, welcoming, and incredibly personable. What really stood out to me was that Bill remembered my name, which made every visit feel personal and appreciated.
Bill consistently goes above and beyond to make customers feel welcome. He is professional, friendly, respectful, and genuinely seems to care about the people he interacts with. His positive attitude and kindness make a real difference and are a wonderful reflection of what excellent customer service should look like.
Goodwill is very fortunate to have someone like Bill on the team. Employees like him create a welcoming environment and leave a lasting impression. I sincerely appreciate his professionalism and kindness and believe he deserves to be recognized for the exceptional service he provides. Please recognize him for his hard work!!”
“I have adopted several dogs from MBR. They are thorough in their screening. I like that. This means they actually care who the dog goes to. I also had a dog that needed surgery in the first month. MBR covered the cost. I have used multiple agencies to adopt rescues and this is THE best one I have dealt with. I also got dog training through them. It truly helped with the younger pup I adopted. This agency is A+ and everyone associated with them is amazing.”
“Wow! Be ready to be impressed! So many books, all clean and a lot of them look new and never read, books are very organized by author and/or genre, good selection of DVDs, clerk was very nice and helpful, some knickknacks and art tastefully displayed and at a price to sell quickly. Books & media are not overpriced. Recommend!”
“Great workout today! The instructor was very methodical in her movements. Carefully guiding the class in such a way as to bring strength and calm. Will definitely come again.”
“I do Silver Sneakers with Olga. It's an all-around exercise class for seniors. She explains what she is doing, and is very knowledgeable about anatomy. It's fun and she knows everyone's name. Try it...you'll like it!”
“Hi, I’m Myra.
Today I did something that means a lot to me.
I cut my hair and donated it to help children who have lost their hair.
I loved my long hair, and saying goodbye to it wasn’t easy. But I knew that it could help another child feel like themselves again.
As my hair was being cut, I wasn’t thinking about what I was losing. I was thinking about what someone else might gain.
A little more confidence…
A little more comfort…
And maybe a bigger smile…
This experience taught me that kindness doesn’t have to be big to make a difference.
My hair will grow back, but the hope and happiness it may bring to another child could last much longer.
Thank you for being part of my journey. ?”
“I’ve been attending Renew for a little while now, and it has truly become a place of encouragement, growth, and community for me. From the warm welcome I felt on my very first visit to the meaningful worship and teaching, every aspect of this church reflects a genuine love for God and people.
The leaders and congregation are approachable, caring, and invested in helping each person grow in their faith. I’ve especially appreciated the opportunities to connect with others through small groups, events, and service. Every time I attend, I leave feeling inspired, supported, and reminded that God is working in and through all of us.
If you’re looking for a church that combines strong biblical teaching with authentic community, I wholeheartedly recommend Renew!”
“This place is within Gunning Park, which was named for my Grandfather Thomas J. Gunning, he was a long time Councilman in Cleveland and served a term as President of Council. He was also a Lawyer and had a practice on Lorain Avenue for over 3o years. this place is well maintained and the staff is excellent. Special thanks to Marie Russell, who showed us around and had taken it upon herself to learn quite a bit about my GrandFather. thanks Marie and staff.”
“The Gathering Place (East and West locations) provides incredible supports to families / individuals touched by cancer personally, as caregivers, and for those grieving loss of a loved one due to cancer. Definitely connect with them to identify services and programs to support you and your family in cancer battle. The free in person Cancer Fighting Kitchen cooking classes are amazing opportunities to learn new recipes to support your self and your family in recovery or as working for prevention. There are so many ways they stand beside families in their cancer journey for which our family is incredibly grateful.”
“Great little thrift store! They have a great selection of used Furniture, Clothes, Books, and household goods and decor. The stock rotates pretty quickly, so you can expect to see new items every couple of weeks. It is actually a Charity shop as well. So all the proceeds go to helping the community! They run a food pantry on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12-2.The Thrift store is open Thursday and Saturday from 9-5.”
“A fairly friendly VFW Post, my family came up for their chicken dinner. I'm not sure why they are only doing only cash in this day and age but it is a very nice place to visit and grab a drink.”

“I have been attending Youth Challenge programs since I was 10-years-old and am now a 27-year-old woman attending programs for adult alumni. I cannot emphasize enough how much of a blessing this organization is to me, and cannot recommend it enough whether you're a young person with a disability or looking for a great cause to donate to or volunteer at. There are so many good people here, from the staff to volunteers to my fellow disabled participants. Children, teens and adults face different physical, emotional and social challenges in living with a disability, and Youth Challenge has been an amazing support network all throughout my life. Be prepared to make new friends, try new hobbies, gain confidence and simply have fun and let off steam after school or work at Youth Challenge!”
“I cannot say enough about this organization; for nearly twenty years they have been a safe place for me (and I’m sure countless others as well.) Through good times and bad this place has stuck with me, and even when I was at my lowest points the Centers made me feel like I had worth… The benefit of that alone is almost incalculable. Thank you to everyone who works for the Centers- I hope you all know how much you matter.”
“Visited Sunday for the first time. Was Very impressed with the services available for all types of visitors, especially the sensory station and the adult changing area. I have never been to a festival that was so accommodating. Also, your selection of artists was wonderful.”

“I drove on the Ohio Thruway 2 days ago for the second time. These are the things I liked about it:
1. Consistently 3 lanes--no lanes suddenly ending or starting. It was nice not to have to weave in and out of traffic.
2. No unnecessary signage, plenty of trees lining the highway, thus fewer distractions.
3. Police on watch throughout. Safety vans attended disabled vehicles.
4. Not having to stop at a tollbooth with EZ pass.
5. Roads were plowed and clear.
I can't comment on the problems other people have had with EZ pass, but overall the thruway in Ohio seemed very well managed to me.”
“I was here a long time ago when they were struggling. What a beautiful difference! Half of the store is full of beautiful furniture and household goods. The other half is clothing with no thrift store smell! Priced right and extremely well organized. We will be back! They also help folks get into a home of their own and help provide beds for kids. How great is that!”
“This store had an awesome selection of goods. My son found a lot of clothing still new with tags and priced fairly and also preloved items still in great shape. The new items were not overpriced like some places will do if the item has tags. The store was clean and well organized. They didn't have products way high out of reach. Only issue I had was the picture/picture frame wall. It was very hard to see what was behind the 1st one because of the chance of breakage by falling. They were stacked 6 to 7 deep at some spots. I understand space is an issue but it did keep me from shopping that section. I did find a beautiful hummingbird painting where the larger art & mirrors were placed next to fitting rooms. It was signed by a well known Chinese artist. After some research I found it is selling for quite a bit more than I bought it for no matter if its a reproduction or real painting. So I'm excited to get that looked at by a Pro and I love hummingbirds. Overall both my son and myself really enjoyed the store and will definitely be back. Oh and can't forget about the staff! The ones I interacted with were polite and knowledgeable. Even seeing them with other guests was the same.”
