We signed our contract and put down the initial deposit on October 1st. After designing our kitchen in their showroom with the help of Ashley, their crew showed up to demo on 12/8 once all the cabinets, countertops, and materials were in-hand at their warehouse.

The kitchen was completely finished on 12/23. Twelve business days. I’ve been through big renovations before with other contractors and was expecting to see studs in the kitchen for at least a couple weeks before things started moving again. Sembros had the drywall back up the very next day, and things just kept moving at that pace until they were finished completely. We have a pretty small galley kitchen, but this was fast and it didn’t come at the expense of quality.

Shout out to Paul who came out for the initial home consult and measurements to get us our initial quote. He knew his stuff, answered all our questions, and got our quotes to us quickly.

Shout out to Ashley for putting together a new kitchen design that made our small kitchen flow better and made it more practical. She also showed us a secret cabinet color we ended up going with for our lowers to add a pop of color.

Shout out to our project manager Pasha for overseeing the entire project from demo to finish. He was able to add on some repairs last minute and priced them out immediately to get them done during the project without anything getting delayed.

And a HUGE shout-out to the crew that came out everyday to demo the kitchen, rework the plumbing and electrical, replace the walls, install the cabinets and the floor, paint the walls, and rebuild our subfloors. They were all extremely friendly, efficient, and true to their craft.

“We looked around for kitchen cabinets for awhile. The box stores like Lowes and Home Depot were very expensive. We went to factory direct and we love the cabinets we got. They came out to the house to double check our measurements and came up with a better idea for cabinet layout that we had. We got our cabinets years ago and they still like we just bought them! Very good quality. If you need new cabinets, check them out! You will not be disappointed!!”

“I have positives and negatives, so please read the entire thing. The reason for a 4-star rating is at the end of this review! Otherwise, it would not have been more than 2-stars! My dining room bay window was badly damaged by the hail storm back in May 2024. I contacted Joyce Factory Direct and they replaced the window months ago. The salesman, Mason, was polite and knowledgeable. I hired Joyce Factory Direct. Much of the work was covered by my homeowner's insurance. The crew was professional and the installers were pleasant to work with. I provided bottles of water. They ran into a problem in my sideyard (of which I was unaware). I live in a rural country area and there are a lot of wild animals out here. Deer, possums, raccoons and bears left fleas in the side yard. These poor guys were covered. I provided flea spray. They were very nice about the whole ordeal. I ordered a large bay window and a smaller window. The small window was perfectly installed and finished. The bay window looked amazing...on the EXTERIOR of the house. When the crew was ready to leave I asked when the interior trim would be finished. I was told that was my responsibility! WHAT? I paid over $5,000.00 for that bay window! Seriously? Well, it's been several months (this was done before the storm that damaged so much of Asheville, NC). I called several times and finally got them to send someone back out to finish the interior trim (because I threatened to report them to the BBB). The workman who did the job, VERNON PARKER, was TERRIFIC! He said it is company "policy" that the installers themselves determine if they will do the interior trim. He disagreed with said policy! Putting up wood or PVC trim would have been a nightmare. Instead, this guy planned and designed metal trim and molded it to my bay window. It looks FANTASTIC and blends perfectly with the existing window trim. I cannot even see any seams, it is flawless! So, in the end, they did a great job, but it took me months, and aggravation, to accomplish. BE FOREWARNED!”
