“This is my go to place to get my asian grocery products. I get my sack of jasmine rice here which lasts me a year at most and stock up on frozen saba. I love that they have variety of asian items from filipino, chinese, japanese, thai, vietnamese, etc items. It's a relatively small store but it is packed with products that are practically what most people need in making asian cuisine and it has a wide selection of snacks, ramen noodles and drinks to satisfy one's craving. I was worried about visiting the store based on the reviews here but the owner who was an older gentleman was super kind and helpful. He even offered to assist in bringing my sack of rice to my car the two times I purchased a sack of rice there. I've been to the store 4 times and the 2 separate occasions where it was attended by the older owner, it was meet with extremely positive shopping experience for me. He gave me a little discount one time plus a treat to try on both occasions. I guess most of the comments are referring to the younger gentleman who I encountered the other 2 times I was there. Although he was not as warm as the older owner, he was not rude or mean to me as well. He just minded his own business which I don't see anything wrong with that and was even a little apologetic when their credit card system was having connectivity issues. Overall, I have a positive time shopping here and would definitely come back to support their business.”

“Simone’s Beverage is hands-down the best liquor store I’ve ever stumbled into—both literally and figuratively. It’s family-owned, which means you get warm welcomes, great recommendations, and zero judgment when you show up twice in one day. The selection is top-tier, from classy wines to party-starting tequila, and the staff somehow always knows exactly what you need (even when you don’t). Walking into Simone’s feels less like running an errand and more like visiting your cool uncle who gives you great booze and better advice. 10/10, would trust them with both my drink choices and my emotional well-being.”

“I stopped in for a lotto ticket today. I ended up hitting on my $10 ticket for $100. The gentleman working the register was polite and friendly. A lot of stores will give you a hard time for trying to cash a lotto winner. But this guy didn't even flinch. He busted the drawer right open and handed me the cabbage. No hassle at all. The store was very clean. I like this store. Their selection of lotto tickets was YUGE, their beer selection was on point. Even though i wasn't slurrping any cold brewskis tonight, i still made my bedroom eyes at the selection they had. Almost paradise. Don't be left out. So if you're in the area, and you wanna punk out old ladies or whatever, or anything else cool, this is where you must stop and resupply yourself. Let's play a game- Ne_'s is Aw_som_!”
“My visit on Saturday, July 26 was my first time there. The store is clean, well lit and well stocked but signage could be better. The young man working the afternoon I was in was not friendly and seemed indifferent to helping the customers who were there. Maybe he was having a bad day, but I worked in retail for over 30 years and in retail, you don't get to have bad days. I would definitely go back, but hope someone else is working the next time I go in.”
“I stopped by to get come Christmas Ales for the upcoming holiday. The gentleman was very nice.
When I got home, the case ripped and 3 of my drinks shattered.
I went back to buy another case to make up for the 3 that I lost, and he gave me 3 singles for free!
Excellent customer service. This will be my #1 spot for any alcohol I need in the future!”
“Went last night for a quick cocktail inside with the husband. Came here to write this review specifically for the barmaid. This gal ran a full bar, served food, cleaned up after the patrons, and serviced the drive thru (approx 5-10 cars)in the 35min we were there. On. her. own! Great job!! Of note- add tip before they run your card at cash out, we had cash so it ended up not being an issue, but good to know.”

It’s changed for the good. I shop at Albert’s fresh market during the week when in a hurry & only need a few items. The staff is polite and friendly as well.”

“They had a decent amount of bourbons. Nothing allocated was left from the drop the day before. They don't appear to get much allocation. Still a decent store. Just get there early of you want any allocated stuff.”
