My mother brought my 5-year-old son in for a haircut with Melina, the manager at this location. When I picked him up an hour later, I was shocked at how poorly his hair had been cut—I even asked my mom if she had done it herself! Once she explained that a “professional” had cut his hair, I rushed my son back to Sports Clips in North Olmsted to address the issue. The staff's reaction upon seeing the haircut was one of disbelief. I’m really grateful to Bianca for taking the time to fix it at no charge. Thank you for making it right!
—definitely would not let Melina touch my hair with a 10ft pole. I’m not sure how she is in a position of management.

I had a terrible customer experience. I used the app to sign in online and drove 16 minutes from work in the opposite direction of my house. I get there check in and sit down for 3 minutes in a chair. A manager comes up to me and and says they are closing 3 hours early and she doesn't have time to cut my hair. She hands me a card for 10 dollars off the next day and says it's only good for one day. I told her I couldn't come back tomorrow and apparently she didn't care, so I drove an extra 45 minutes after work for no reason. I would suggest if an employee or manager needs to close way earlier than normal they should be able to inform the app so people aren't driving far just to be turned away. I would also suggest compensating the customer with a coupon they can actually use anytime, instead of forcing them to reschedule their life to make it in the next day, which I couldn't do in this situation even if I wanted to.
Update! Just had an excellent conversation with Dani from Sportsclips corporate. She called me and was very understanding and helpful and apologized for the experience. I am changing my review to 3 stars because of the customer service she provided.

Terrible stylists. Everybody wants to see that girl Bianca up there, I haven't had her but I've had all of the others. Even the manager. She's super nice, which is cool but she BUTCHERED my hair. I am embarrassed to take a hat off. Everybody notices and laugh it off.

Bianca is the star here. She's fun to talk with and always pleasant. She deserves a raise. She never seems like she's in a hurry to get to the next costumer and always acts like your haircut is the most important haircug of the day. She's awesome!

I was a little nervous today as it was my first time visiting a sports clips. I had Jacquline as my stylist and she was AMAZING! I highly recommend. She was very kind and did a very good job with my cut. I will definitely be back for another haircut with her.

Skipped me three times. Tried to state she called my name. Was in there for half an hour. Nobody said my name. Unprofessional what they were talking about and one was busy with her boyfriend in the back flirting and swapping clothes. Don’t go to north Olmsted location. Needs a manager on site or a new one if one was a manger.

Bianca is amazing! I was there around 7pm. Bianca had been there cutting hair since 9am by herself and she had one more customer after me. She didn't make me feel rushed, she made me feel welcome. She deserves a raise. The hair cut was excellent and my beard has never looked better. Bianca took great care of me, she's my new barber. Seriously she's great!
