We were so lucky to find Bloom Social Haus, exactly what we needed to pivot due to Canadian Wildfires and inability to be outside.
We all concluded it was meant to be, Bloom Social Haus was the perfect venue for our mom’s 90th Birthday celebration!
Your venue is clean, accessible,(we had wheelchair guests), ample space and opportunity for different zones and photo ops.
It’s rare to book a place sight unseen be we were more than pleasantly surprised with the fortuitous party pivot!

“Had a company picnic here & it was very nice. I'm not sure if they had their own catering or if catering was brought in, but that was good too. Bathrooms were clean. We used the yard next door as well for outdoor games. Very accommodating.”
“I’ve been to this post many times. I am a PUFL from another post and everyone here has been very welcoming, friendly and supportive. I highly recommend supporting the Legion Riders group by purchasing their fundraising calendars each fall. It’s a great way to support fellow veterans.”
“The pavilion was perfect for my sister's wedding this past weekend. There was plenty of room to spread out, and the owner was SO helpful setting up. She went above and beyond by helping to replace one of the mirror signs that got blown over by the wind during set up AND she saved my day by giving me dayquil. She was prepared and had solutions to everything! She is clearly a pro at this.
They were accommodating prior to the event answering our many questions and when we needed an additional visit to the site to plan the seating arrangement.
The only con I could possibly think of; just by nature of it being an outdoor venue, the terrain can be a little challenging for guests with mobility issues, so keep that in mind. They do have a ramp and guests can be dropped off close to the pavilion to help mitigate that issue.
I would happily attend and help host any event at Puskas again in the future.”
“I'm at the Lorain ywca, it's pretty nice to live here, I just have a problem with those that break the rules, but they don't care, there's one person smokes in the day room. I was told cameras were going to be installed, cause there's a lot of food theft going on.and my food the was stolen showedback up in the fridge, but I left it there. And also knows who took it, wasn't anyone from third floor”
“Challenging Course in good shape. Do not walk this course as distances from green to next tee for many holes range from 1/4 to 3/8 of a mile. I was an out of town visitor and my host did not warn me. Repeat - do not walk this course.”
“I’m in town and looking to golf. Showed up without a tee time, they were able to get me on the back nine. The pace for a Saturday wasn’t horrible but also slow. No beverage cart on Saturday.
HOWEVER! None of that really matters when you see the beauty of this course. The country feel, the valley feel, all of it. I had a great time. Met some cool guys, it was there first time too, they also loved the course. Only lost 1 ball. Plus the food in the tavern is absolutely delicious.

“Speaking from the DJ vendor side of things. A beautiful venue for a wedding ceremony and reception. The staff are super kind and helpful. Erin the event coordinator is always on top of things. They have a nice stage in the back. Things can get a little dark if it’s the Fall so make sure you bring some wash lights. Second time here can’t wait to come back and appreciate the art.”
“Rented the Club house June/26/2022, it was an excellent experience, Clean, modern and spacious to fit our needs. Highly recommend and I would rent again. I'm not a resident so cost was $225. Worth every penny!”

I've been to a few events here since my original review 10 years ago and even hosted my mother's wake last year. The staff and food was great and they were very helpful through the planning process. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to host an intimate, casual gathering.”

“For a property that was only 10 years old, this place looks brand new. The breakfast area and breakfast were outstanding. While I did not partake at the bar, they do serve adult beverages and have nice bar food options.”
“This is a very interesting place where you can learn to make different kinds of glass art. The instructor , Judy, is extremely talented and has a large variety of different types of glass and projects for you to learn. Her prices are reasonable for the amount of time she spends with you. Highly recommended and I will return to learn more about glass art.”

“The grafton barbell club lives in the facility. It has older equipment, but decently maintained. The patrons are a really friendly bunch. The staff is minimal but nice to deal with, the bathroom sanitation is not very good but that is the building owner's responsibility and not the barbell club's responsibility. The barbell club portion is open 24hrs a day.”
