Very professional breeder who has the breed’s best interest only. Linda was amazing. Our vet said our girl is in excellent health. She is 4 months old now. She is smart and everything we could want in a dog. She is very social, took to crate training effortlessly, and she is the model puppy in her Puppy training Classes and we have had no anxiety issues and easy to potty train.

I honestly did a ton of research about Australian Shepherd breeders in the Ohio area and came across Lakes Australian and Linda. After my first conversation with Linda, it felt just right. Unfortunately, we were moved to two different breed lists, but Linda always communicated and kept us updated. We finally bring home our little girl this upcoming weekend and we are absolutely thrilled. Learning about Linda and her passion for Australian Shepherds and her non-profit therapy horses for disabled children, we knew we made the right decision getting a puppy from Linda. Thank you so much Linda for everything!

Linda was excellent to work with. It was a pleasure to work with her.She was knowledgeable, incredibly responsive, and thorough. We picked up our girl in April 2021 and decided to get a second. It was a no brainer to go back to her.

I’ve owned Australian shepherds for 30 years. Both wonderful dogs. They came from another breeder. My current female black tri from Lakes is an exceptional dog. Extremely intelligent, superb vision and hearing also very affectionate. She has an incredible memory also. She loves to play and is very athletic. My niece who lives close by also has a red tri from Lakes also an exceptional dog. They are everything that Linda said they would be.

Linda runs everything very well and helps you along the way. She really took care of me when other breeders were not holding up to their word. I got a Red Merle Female from her in 2020 and it’s been amazing so far! She does everything right as a breeder should.

Please take this review as a one off situation but a possibility to happen to you. The breeder is great and the dogs are gorgeous but we did have a serious problem with our puppy. At the age of 5 months our little guy started excessive drooling and seemed very halusinative. He very aggressively got worse within a very short period time and eventually passed away that night. At first my vet was scared of rabies but after the biopsy we were informed he had a brain aneurysm due to a genetic deformity. I personally did not contact the breeder but my significant other did as she was the purchaser of the pup for me. As I am aware she was told "it happens" and we can have a 50$ discount on a new dog. I took this personally as an indication of the dog being cash flow instead of a personable and loving animal. This is my own reaction though probably not how they feel. Most breeders have a passion for the animals they sell.Just a side note he was full of love, and excitement. Even though he was 5 months old we literally have hundreds of people that either met him or saw our videos online sending their condolences to us. He made everything bad on this world dissappear.
