“Went here for a preschool field trip. It was nice. They took them on a little hike. They explained what kind of animals lived there. The instructor was very friendly. She included every child when they had a question and answer.”

“I recently visited Linwood Park, and it was an absolute gem! The park itself is beautifully maintained, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the standout features is its beach access, which provides a peaceful and tranquil setting. The beach is the perfect place to unwind, with soft sand, gentle waves, and plenty of space to relax.

During my visit, the atmosphere was incredibly calming—exactly what I needed for a much-needed break. Whether you're looking to take a quiet walk, lounge by the water, or simply clear your mind, Linwood Park’s beach offers an ideal environment for relaxation. It's definitely a place worth visiting for anyone seeking peace and natural beauty.

I highly recommend Linwood Park for anyone looking for a peaceful day by the beach!”

“Very pleasant ride for the mostly part on a vintage train. The ride back was a little uncomfortable as train was going backwards. Would have been awesome if the other empty car was made available for seating as the seats were facing the opposite direction in that car”

“Our team recently rented the Main Street Amherst building for a lunchtime workshop event and it was a great experience! Theresa and Sherri were super helpful in helping plan for the event. Plenty of tables and chairs for everyone. Lots of space to move around, place food on one side, etc. Plus, it was very cost effective! Thanks for all your help and we'll be back again soon!”

“The Elyria Bicycle Center was founded about 7 years by Ed Stewart and some other bicycle enthusiasts. They started out across the street in a very small space and then had the opportunity to buy the former hardware store owned by Phil Stamitti for decades. This place is staffed by all volunteers.

I was walking around my old neighborhood and stopped in to see their new digs. Talk about a well organized place! Around 300 bikes in the back to be worked on. Probably 40 in the front showroom for sale at very reasonable prices. All the bike parts were well organized and stored in the back. I am a bike enthusiast for 7 decades and recognize the good work these folks are doing.”

“I been going to Goodwill since January. Met amazing teachers Rick and Bart, they do the digital technical program. Before i took my summer semester as a college student. My teachers help me know deeper about computers. Beside it FREE, not the one i have to pay out pocket for summer. When i did finally when back to school my teacher taught me what I already know including Google (everything about google). Me already knowing digital technical by Goodwill help me pass my computer class in college. Goodwill is more than just a industrial and store. It's Missionaries business that help with Job search, computer programs, youth programs, homeless programs, and more. Goodwill help those that want to help themselves to progress with help of resources Goodwill is willing to provide. Stop saying there are no programs that will help you. Make Goodwill your first options and be ready to go work.”
