Discount Drug Mart is a store where many customers enjoy shopping and do so regularly. The employees are typically described as friendly, courteous, and helpful, with some going above and beyond. Customers like to do their grocery shopping there, noting excellent choices, good produce at fair prices, and unique items like pastas and cereals not found elsewhere. The deli is clean, though one specific deli employee receives consistent criticism for being rude, ignoring customers, and making mistakes. While most pharmacy and front-end staff are good, there have been past experiences with certain rude pharmacy personnel. The store has almost everything you need, but a warning is given about the pre-made chicken sandwich making a customer sick. A minor inconvenience is that money orders require cash, as credit and debit cards are not accepted for that service. Overall, people like and continue to shop there.
When I was first married in the late 1960s, there was a Drug Mart built across from where I lived. It became the go-to for many things. All these years later, I'm still amazed at what I can find when I go in there.
