Back in the area again and needed a storage unit to rent until I find my new home. Have had the pleasure of working with Zach. I had a slight problem with the latch screw coming loose. Zach assured me he'd get to it as soon as possible since he is not onsite. He also assured me that my contents would be fine because of the way they're designed. I being exhausted from a long cross country move asked him why this wasn't checked prior. Zach could of blamed someone else, he didn't. He could have lied, he didn't. He in turn took the blame for it. I don't think I could have appreciated him more at that point. So refreshing for someone to be honest. When he was able to come out to fix it, he notified me. Two person minor job for sure. I assisted with my simple task. Since then Zach has checked back in to make sure all was working well. The unit was clean and not as costly as some I checked into. If a semi is bringing in your belongings, my suggestion would be to find another storage facility. I was warned about tight entrance when I rented it so once again , the honesty was there.

We used this facility to store my son's college dorm things over the summer. The process was easy and everything worked out great. I would do it again! Thanks to Zach for being ready to assist with quick responses to questions and clear explanations of the process. Highly recommend!

I recommend this unit to anyone who may need somewhere safe to keep their stuff, either short term, or long term. My stuff was stored for over 2 years. When I emptied everything out the other day, nothing was broken, missing, or infested with bugs/critters. Management is super kind, and super easy to work and communicate with. If I ever have storage needs again, I will definitely be returning and suggest that anyone who has storage needs gives these guys a shot. 10/10 business.

Very pleased with our experience at Oberlin Self Storage! When we were researching summer storage options for our daughter who is a student at Oberlin College, owner Zach’s customer service far exceeded our expectations. He was very quick to respond to our initial inquiry and follow up questions and he even welcomed us onto the property to view the inside of the storage unit before we committed. Both Zach and his manager, Beth, were friendly, patient, and efficient when it came time to sign the contract for our summer rental, and Zach followed up during college move out weekend to make sure everything was going smoothly as we transferred our daughter’s belongings into storage. I’m happy to support this locally owned business and I recommend Oberlin Self Storage without hesitation. I would definitely rent a storage unit again here next year!

Oberlin self storage is the perfect place just outside of Oberlin to store belongings. Was very easy to sign up, the staff were very helpful, even including a video on the best type of lock and how to operate the doors. Very clean and safe facility!

I had a great experience with the facility. Zach is very helpful throughout the whole process, the units are spacious and clean with reasonable pricing, and communication is very efficient. All of my questions were answered in a timely manner, and I have had no issues with my experience at all. Highly recommend!

The best storage facility in the area. Amazingly fast and professional service. You cannot go wrong choosing Oberlin Self storage. I called at 9:30 am and left my information, received a callback in 1 minute, was guided through the rental process, within 20 minutes I had completed the rental of the large unit needed and all the information to begin storing our belongings. Wow ! Unit and facility was spotless and easy to access. Lightning fast communication, first class service, highly competitive pricing. If you need a storage unit in or around Oberlin this is it !

Needed a space so I didn't have to haul my student's gear every summer. Once was enough! Oberlin Self Storage made it easy to park the gear for the summer in a clean dry space. Reasonable price, easy to pay, and customer service the way it's supposed to be! I had questions and Zack answered them, often within the hour. When we were late with the set-up, Zack just switched us to the Baumhart Rd. facility! I wish I found them a year earlier!

So far so good! Zach is exceedingly responsive and answered all the questions from this mom trying to get everything set up for kid’s summer storage.
The unit is clean and everything fit. The process of paperwork and payment was very smooth.
Zach even checked in with me after to make sure everything went as expected.
Great experience thus far!
