The Hotel at Oberlin is an excellent, clean, and well-run hotel located right in town. It has undergone a major upgrade, making it a modern and spacious hotel that rivals any big-city hotel. The rooms are great, clean, modern, and comfortable with very comfortable beds. The hotel is noted for its cool environmental features and sustainability, including a geothermal heating and cooling system. Profits from the hotel go to support the college scholarship fund. The lobby contains a nice restaurant and bar, 1833, which serves great food, though service can sometimes be slow. The hotel is well-suited for events like weddings, corporate retreats, and gatherings, with fantastic staff and great common area and meeting room facilities. There is easy free parking right out front. While there is no pool or room service, the hotel is in a safe and enjoyable small college town with many options to eat and shop on Main Street. It is a great choice for anyone visiting Oberlin and the surrounding attractions.
First time to the Oberlin and what a great experience. The rooms were great, clean, and modern. This has a restaurant inside that had great food. I highly recommend the chicken parmesan.
