“This retro toy store is a really fun place if you are into vintage electronics, classic toys, and hard to find stuff. They have a surprisingly deep selection, including some items that you do not just stumble across every day. If you like the thrill of the hunt, there is definitely treasure in here.
That said, the store badly needs to be reorganized. There is so much inventory that a lot of it ends up stacked, piled, or sitting on top of other things, and you really have to dig through it to see what is actually there. It is not a quick in and out shopping experience. You need time and patience, and you have to be willing to look around carefully. In the owner’s defense, I get the sense he is constantly busy, doing shows, moving inventory, and probably could use more help. Still, it is what it is, and the clutter can be a bit overwhelming.
Even with that, I think it is worth digging through because the selection is legit. I also know this place has mixed reviews, but based on my limited experience, it has not been too bad. I actually got a good deal on a vintage piece of equipment. Unfortunately, I learned after the fact that it does not work, but that is the chance you take when you are buying old electronics, especially when it is sold as is. I am still glad I took the shot, and I am hoping I can get it working at some point.
I also spoke with the owner a bit and he was very friendly, which matters. Overall, if you are looking for rare vintage finds and you do not mind doing some serious digging, this place is worth a visit.”
“This is such a lovely store. They do amazing work here. Not only do they have everything you need, everyone is so nice and eager to help you. I've gotten several custom frames done here and the work was excellent. The store does a lot to foster community--often hosting events like book club and chip club. Highly recommend.”
