There are so many fascinating pieces for anyone interested in the preservation of life, death rituals, anatomy, and the more morbid pieces of history. The radium display case was especially interesting—and honestly, a little terrifying at the same time! Because of my profession, I’m fascinated by anatomy, so the skulls, bones, and vintage medical instruments were some of my favorite finds.
There was also a really cool squirrel coozie when we visited that my husband still wants to go back for. The only problem with a shop like this is that so many pieces are one-of-a-kind, so if something catches your eye, you really can’t hesitate!

“This is a beautiful vintage store with a wide variety of things. It is impeccably curated. It's bright, it's clean, there is no broken junk, and more importantly, there is no attitude coming from Mr. Sotka or his staff. I came in looking like a bum with one orthopedic boot and Mitchell immediately asked me how my foot was doing and we laughed about it. The prices are incredible for what you're getting. It's a great place to shop for yourself or buy a one-of-a kind gift. I think about the amount of time I've spent rummaging around "antiquing" in other stores and I repent of it in the name of Jesus. Mitchell has done that work for you and brought in the best. I will be stopping in regularly and purchasing often.”

“you are coming here to save yourself time - come here to find the one item you have always wanted - a Southwestern-style bag, 80s clipons, retro glassware, a one of a kind dress. you won’t get this at your local Goodwill as easily (these days, anyway!) you might pay a little more but it is worth it for the experience. feels like stepping back in time.”
