It's one thing to trick elderly, chronically ill people for whom English is a second language into paying over seven grand for an urn niche while allowing them to believe cremation is included. (Oh, but that's a "quote, not an invoice." Given the total amount they paid was right there it sure looked like an invoice to me! It's another to then expect a grieving family to magically pull almost three grand out of their backside once you've already entrusted a body to them. (We called about the hospital pickup and the associate told us that yes, yes, everything was in order and already paid for). But it is SOMETHING ELSE ALTOGETHER to call days before a holiday two months later with the ol' so, wanna give us a bunch more money for the one who isn't dead yet? SURE LET ME GET OUT MY WALLET, YOU GHOULS. Honestly, what the hell. Sales numbers down in November?

I want to thank Ryan Hurst Family Service Advisor for his expert care of his brother and my youngest son Shawn Hurst. I am so pleased that Ryan recommended I use Sunset Memorial Park's services. Ryan explained things well, was kind and patient with me. He saw to it that Shawn was taken care of every step of the way. He was highly professional while dealing with the loss of Shawn as well. It ment a lot to both of us that he was able to do these last things for Shawn.

Thousands of dollars later.... our memorial stone was installed ... no one called ... look what you get ... also no grass planted ... we are not the only ones ... look at all the Yelp reviews ... we are close to $10,000 for our "free plot". BTW don't believe them ... it is NOT illegal to spread your own ashes in Ohio and many other states. It's all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ and high pressure sales. Very disappointed. Look also at how other memorials were treated nearby. We also reported homeless people camping in the park just yards away and that complaint apparently went nowhere - discounted as "workers". So your migrant workers camp out in the woods? As far as services my Mom had her funeral there. It feels like a cold hearted assembly line. At other funeral homes you have the room for the day. Here the minute the funeral is over they throw your belongings out of the room and people are rushed out for the next assembly line funeral. Very cold and calculating. Also at the last minute the funeral director said we should invite people afterwards for a funeral meal. That never came up during our planning. He recommended Donauschwaben German-American Cultural Center (7370 Columbia Rd, Olmsted Falls, OH 44138). That was another mistake. He claimed they took credit cards. But that organization does not have their act together. Young waitress there immediately refused to take credit cards so I drove over a half hour home for the check book. By the time I got back my guests were leaving. Manager adds insult to injury and says they could have taken credit cards. Should have fired the waitress for playing that prank! By the way look at the other reviews and you will find that management does not care and does not respond. We only selected this cemetery because my parents were buried there in a large nationality section. Shame on you! Shame on you!

Nicholas Pauley was very helpful finding grave sites of our loved ones. This is the best cemetery staff I have been associated with. He was very thoughtful of our needs. I am very pleased with the maintenance of the grounds and the care they give to our family.

Norma took care of my Family when my Father passed in 2015. When my Mother passed recently, the only person I wanted to help us through this painful time was Norma. Norma is so kind and caring. I feel like she is family! She made the unbearable a bit more bearable by just being Norma. ❤️

Decided to find a forever resting place for my now deceased wife and myself. Since my parents and grandparents are buried at Sunset Memorial Park, me and my wife's ashes will live forever in a niche.I would highly recommend Sunset Memorial Park to everyone. The property is beautiful, the grounds are well kept and the staff is very professional. Big shout out to Rebecca, she's a wonderful person, professional and family oriented.

Sunset Memorial Cemetery has remained our families choice for internment for several generations. We have found the funeral directors compassionate and professional and the pristine park like setting comforting.

The loss of a baby is devastating. One of the hardest things to deal with. The whole staff our family dealt with was beyond phenomenal especially Arie who was wonderful to deal with. The compassion and care we received for our grandson was amazing and they went above and beyond to help our family through this difficult time. I will forever be grateful and thankful. Thank you so much again.

We attended the funeral of the daughter of a dear friend. Her Father had died in 1999 and his ashes were in an urn on the mantle. The daughter had asked her Mother to have his urn put into her casket when she passed. These vultures charged $4200 to pick up the urn ( that had been brought to them physically) and place the urn in the casket. How long would that take???? 20 seconds. SHAME!!!!!!!!!

I love the beauty of Sunset Memorial. I also appreciate our funeral director, Rebecca. I am so glad that this is my son’s final resting place. I wish there could be some kind of security on the cemetery to prevent the flowers from being stolen.

I have been at this site for so many family members and the staff and all are great to work with. Have not had a bad experience at all. They are there to help you through a ruff time and care that is a plus in my book.
