Supposed to be a store that saves you money BUT can of chicken breast are 70¢ higher than Meijer and that clover valley compared to Meijer brand and Meijer brand is a bit better! Pork rinds used to be a dollar a bag now over $2.00! How can you call yourself dollar general and a store that's saving people money when you are eating them every day?

I’ve never really had any major issues with this location, aside from one time when a software glitch charged me but wouldn’t let me take my groceries. Thankfully, I live nearby and was able to return once it was resolved. This all after going in about 4-5 times a week for the last 5 years.
A lot of the negative reviews seem to blame the employees for things that are really the responsibility of Dollar General as a company—like understaffing or the store’s condition, wrong prices all over the shelves. (Still something to keep an eye on with the current lawsuit going on with Ohio vs DG) They send these employees more product than the store can realistically handle, and there’s only so much space. Honestly, there are times I walk in and just feel bad for the staff. It’s clear they’re doing the best they can with the resources they’re given.
There was a former manager who wasn’t the friendliest (I always tried to be polite, but they just seemed fed up with the working conditions). That said, things seem to be heading in a better direction now. The store appears to be undergoing a remodel, and the current employees are friendly and doing a great job. It’s nice to see some positive changes happening.

Manager at this location is unprofessional and rude. Was asking where something was and i was told to shut up so I left not going there again when I'm visiting

The aisles are full.of carts of items to be emptied onto shelves. Couldn't get to the items I needed due to all the carts. Someone in a wheelchair could surely not get down these aisles.

If you need real groceries, go to Save A Lot instead. It’s less than 2 away.
Dollar General is bad for our community because:
- it runs local grocery stores that sell fresh produce out of business.
- provides fewer jobs than those stores.
- decreases the food quality I can get when the local groceries go out of business.
- they’re understaffed and people can easily do crime there.
No more Dollar General!

Customer service is lacking at this location. Not helpful. Luckily this is not the location I usually go to.

Staff just won't move to help someone if they are busy stocking.

For being a newer location, it’s surprising how dirty the outside of the building is. It needs swept outside and cleaned up. Cigarette butts and trash layin around. It’s like the workers really don’t care. Take pride in your job and who you work for. No matter the job. I’ve not been overly impressed with the inside either. The manager needs to step it up and take control of how things are done. Get it cleaned up

Worst dollar store in Orrville. Half the time they are not even open and when they are open you have to chase around the store to find someone to check you out. I’m about to just start walking out with my stuff. SMH!!!

Employees make customers wait at the checkout while they stand around talking to each other or they hangout in the office. When they decide to work they're very rude.
