Worst home construction loan experience ever. They have no interest in keeping costs down during your construction project and make sure to charge fees on every petty thing they possible can. We paid for two loan extensions since our home construction/remodel faced some serious sewer and mold issues and they made sure to also include a second loan appraisal fee just to drop is at the end of the loan and say they weren't interested in doing the full mortgage with us. We jumped through the hoops and paid all the interest only fees just to have them forget about us at the end. Then when our new bank tries to payoff the loan they make sure to swipe in a $1500 charge for a payoff date that is a few days past their loan date.
If you want to go with a local hometown bank who cares about families and the community, look elsewhere.

I love this bank! The people will make sure you’re taken care of! I did a mortgage and two refinances and was taken care of perfectly each time during a very busy time for them. Can’t say enough good things!

We have always been happy with Osgood State Bank. The interest rates are competitive. The employees always friendly. The loan officer helpful in many ways. We suggest you try banking there if you're looking for another bank.

This is the worse bank I've ever stepped foot into. They like to sell you this story about how amazing their bank is and how they want to look out for you the customer but this is all a bunch of lies. They are a profits over people type of bank. Take your banking needs elsewhere with a company you can actually trust.
