Definitely recommend! Jerry has been doing this for 37+ years and he knows hitches. I had a hitch installed on my car. Jerry coached me throughout the process as did Rick. Angel installed the hitch well under the promised timeframe. I couldn't be happier with the service and end result! Again, I highly recommend this business.

I had taken my car elsewhere to get a trailer hitch and wiring installed. When I returned home, I found that the wiring harness was completely dead. Not wanting to back to the same place that had done a poor job to begin with, I stopped in to see what they could do for me as it was about a 10 minute drive from where I work. Everyone was absolutely fantastic. They opened up my hood, immediately identified the problem and had it fixed within 5 minutes. They tested the connection and even gave me tips to protect the connector. Jerry up at the front desk was courteous and easy to talk to, as was the technician who helped me out (I didn’t catch his name but he was awesome!)
I’ll be sure to recommend this place to my friends and will be returning for any work I may need done in the future. Thanks a bunch guys!

This is an excellent company to deal with. I live out of state (Alabama), so I went through the local dealer there to purchase my cap. They did a horrific job! It wasn't wired properly (you could see wires running across the front driver's side wheel well). The cap wasn't clamped securely, and the front fold-in window wouldn't stay up. So, while I was visiting my mom in Northeast Ohio, I contacted A Better Truck Cap & Hitch in Painesville. Jerry, the owner, went out of his way to make sure all the issues were resolved. His technician, Angel, did an amazing job correcting all the issues. He rewired it, so now there are no exposed wires. They are professional, thorough, timely, and very particular about taking care of their customers. I'll go out of my way to do business with Jerry/ A Better Truck Cap & Hitch. Thank you, Jerry, for going above and beyond in taking care of me.

Absolutely nothing but good things to say about this place. The older gentleman at the counter was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to answer my questions in depth. Even gave me a few tips expanding on my questions!Angel, a mechanic came out to my truck to help sure the clamps I bought fit correctly and answered me honestly when I asked if I would need 4 or 6. I needed 4, and he didn’t try to sell me more.These little things are very appreciated by a customer and go a very long way especially in today’s world.Thank you to everyone at A Truck Cap & Hitch.

So I ordered a truck cap for my 2023 Sierra. When they wired the third brake light up they messed all of my lights up in my truck. They said it was the fuse replaced the fuse. My lights are still screwed up. They rewired it still messed up. The dome light don't work not unless you have the truck running. The cap leaks have been there six times trying to get it fixed right? Still leaks they said they plac ed the window. Don't know if they did or not because it's still leaks. I said something about their seal because it was too thin. They said that's the tap the day used for the new trucks but then they double lapped it on the back end but not on the sides. Think twice before you get some work done here

As of right now. 2 stars just based on customer service. 1, the guy at the counter was condescending when we came in to pick out my cap. 2, it has been 6 weeks and still no cap. Yet my cap was on the truck and on it way last Friday? There is no follow up calls. The 2 times I have called. I have been blown off with a promise of a call back, only to have to call them back.

These guys are great. I had some problems with my 5th wheel hitch, and they fixed it and talked me through how to maintain it. I also had my bed cover installed there. Completely satisfied.
