I had a picture of a Paw Patrol cake that he wanted and they drew it up and when I picked up the cake, I was so happy. Our grandson loved his cake and was so excited. It looked amazing and tasted just as good. Awesome job ladies”
“Clean store. Friendly associates that always remember you. Good selection of emergency items such as sugar, milk, butter, toilet paper. The associates know you by name or car and they're just sooo friendly and helpful. The only items I hope they'll bring into the mix are cage/cruelty free eggs, humane milk, and Method or Seventh Generation cleaning products. More would be great, but those are essentials. Everyone in my neighborhood has to haul down or up to Chardon or Mentor to get these products.”
“The store in the staff are fine it's the entry and exit doors that are horrendous sometimes I feel like they're going to crush me when I try to go in and out”

I never want to call and ask about my prescription bc Im afraid she will answer. Shes not friendly and feels annoyed to be helping me although she doesnt. She tells me i cant pick up my meds for a couple days but I call the day my ins says it can be filled. I live in Madison so the closest Rite Aid is Painesville bc Madison closed. I do not want to drive out there before making sure my meds are ready so I honestly dread calling for that reason. I even have my husband pick it up in case I have to deal with her. She makes me that uncomfortable. Almost reminds me of a bullys personality. I used to get texts when it was filled but not anymore for some reason. Thats a wonderful feature. If you get a short blonde girl named Danielle, you are in good hands. Shes efficient, friendly, and could prob run the whole pharmacy.”
“This has been my go to place for "convenience store" runs since it opened because they have nearly everything I want, with the added benefit of not having to get out of the car. Plus the service is always quick and they are always so polite. If I haven't already persuaded you to try them out know this they have one of the larger selections of energy drinks in flavors I didn't know existed and a amazing selection of chips and candy.Seriously I can't give this place enough love. Thank you for always having what I need!”

“I have never had an issue with the morning lady as someone previously posted. She's always smiling, friendly, greets me as I come in and I look forward to my visit there as I come every morning. She makes my day a bit brighter.”

1520 Madison Ave, Painesville“We stopped to grab a Diet Coke and hopefully use the restroom and had the unexpected pleasure of experiencing the feeling of an old-time small-town general store tucked into the packaging of a modern convenience mart. Bitcoin atm, snacks, alcohol, gracious service, and a clean restroom-- This little place gets an easy five stars. Gasoline and lottery and smoking stuff too. Probably a huge list of things I can't even imagine... (And an endearing hand lettered sign in the restroom: If You Go #2 CLEAN UP After Yourself! Thank You! Mrs. K!)”
“Outstanding Giant Eagle. Love shopping there. Large, clean and well stocked store. Great customer service. They have great store discounts...PLUS ➕ food ? ? ??????? ? and gas⛽ savings (with their food/gas perk savings card). I shop there practically all the time and save my gas ⛽ perks and fill up my car on less than $1.00 a gallon ever month.”

The doctor said he needed that particular prescription. The pharmacist first tried to help me figure out a way to save money so I could buy it. When I got there I literally cried because she called and the insurance covered it after all. I will forever be appreciative! Thanks so much for always being helpful and compassionate.”

As I was scanning aisles for canned dog food I was even asked if I needed help~ where a kind gentleman pointed out what I was searching for. As I left I was also told to have a great Sunday. Maybe its just a new day, but definitely new faces and a very welcoming atmosphere!”

1150 Bank St, Painesville“Open 24 hours, fair prices, clean store. Decent choice of snacks/candy. Plenty of gas pumps, easy access from roads. If it’s past 11:00pm, watch out for the fuzz. I see cops sit in the parking lot of True North, and at the church’s on Johnnycake/Bank Street. Mostly Sheriff’s, occasionally Painesville PD.”

265 E Erie St, Painesville“My husband I had to be tested due to exposure and symptoms. They went above and beyond to make our scary experience less frightening. Covid testing is done via drive through at the pharmacy window. You are given instructions by a tech there. They do not come out. You administer the test yourself with guidance from the tech. You must schedule an appointment prior. Arrive early though. They take you in the order the car arrives. Have confirmation code you received via text or email. They will need code to confirm who you are and they will ask your date of birth several times.”

265 E Erie St, Painesville“Lets just start by saying this was the best CVS experience I've had. Will and Faith were so much help. Will assisted us with every item we needed that our insurance covered. Faith was also sweet thank you.”
“My parents would always take me here as a kid when they needed there lottery numbers, Tina used to always give me a lollipop when i would come with my mom while we would wait. I stop by once in a while when I’m in town to see Tina and Jay and occasionally you may even see their sons helping out. It’s a family owned shop with its own unique charm, rough around the edges sure, but eventually you find yourself coming back not just for a quick bag of chips or drink but to see how the family is doing. Nowadays I work in a big city so it’s always nice to get that sense of community from the places you grew up going to! Always warms my heart seeing them when I stop by!”

“The gentleman at the desk, Scott, I believe, took the time to manually enter my numbers for a crumpled and defaced ticket. He was extremely attentive and kind to each guest.”

33 W Walnut Ave, Painesville“I had the nicest experience ever yesterday at Harry’s Food Mart 1 I stopped in to buy a few items. Andy one of the workers there was at the cash register. I asked him if they had bananas. He replied with a very friendly yes and took me to the isle where they keep their bananas. I also asked where their potato chips were. He then took me to the isle where their potatoe chips are. He met me back at the cash register and checked me out. He told me to come back and have a goodnight. The owners of the store and other workers are wonderful and friendly people! I might add that they have the best meat in town! I’ll be shopping there tomorrow for hamburger meat!”
“There may be a wait in the drive-thru line sometimes .. but seems it’s because they’re busy providing great service to each customer when its their turn. It’s a busy location but they always have time to focus on “you” when it’s your turn. Any wait time has ended up being worth it because they’re thorough & it seems like they genuinely care about helping people. Thanks G.E. Pharmacy team”
