I had a picture of a Paw Patrol cake that he wanted and they drew it up and when I picked up the cake, I was so happy. Our grandson loved his cake and was so excited. 7. Discount Drug Mart - 8023 Crile Road

8023 Crile Road, Concord OH 44077

    4.4 Superb 85 reviews

“Last year, I was driving thru Painseville on my way to Nova Scotia Canada and stopped here to get some hair supplies. To my pleasant surprise, they had a nice selection of textured hair products!! And they were a cheaper at the time which was great. I noticed they had a ton of deodorant much cheaper than other places so I stocked up. It's lasted me about a year haha! Now I'm in Nova Scotia, running out of deodorant, and can't find reasonable prices on hair products or deodorant. Sure wish we had a store like that here. This was before the Iran war where prices took another huge jump. But I bet this store is doing its best to bring quality products in and make them as affordable as possible.”

  9. La Hispana - 351 N State St

    351 N State St, Painesville OH 44077

    4.3 Superb 24 reviews

“A good place for authentic Hispanic items. It has all the basic stuff like beans and peppers. La Hispana is also good for getting hard to find things. Fresher than at most groceries. The prices are better here. Basic stuff along with more exotic foods. It has a lot of canned foods like beans as you can imagine. They also have fresher made stuff like salsa and tamales. It doesn't cost that much for the freshness. The salsa is about $2 for a container, and the tamales are about the same. Also they have lots of authentic candy. They have an almond brittle that is crunchy and sweet. It can be hard to find. It's located on State Street where it splits near the trans and it's easy to miss. This is worth finding though.”

  13. Dairy Express Food Mart - 694 Mentor Ave

694 Mentor Ave, Painesville OH 44077

    3.5 Good 11 reviews

“My parents would always take me here as a kid when they needed there lottery numbers, Tina used to always give me a lollipop when i would come with my mom while we would wait. I stop by once in a while when I’m in town to see Tina and Jay and occasionally you may even see their sons helping out. It’s a family owned shop with its own unique charm, rough around the edges sure, but eventually you find yourself coming back not just for a quick bag of chips or drink but to see how the family is doing. Nowadays I work in a big city so it’s always nice to get that sense of community from the places you grew up going to! Always warms my heart seeing them when I stop by!”

1029 Mentor Avenue, Painesville OH 44077

    3.7 Good 92 reviews

“Dollar General is one of my favorite stores. The price is almost always right and they always have what you’re looking for. My store ( the store nearest me ) is always neat and clean. I have been into stores where the isles are a mess and you can’t find anything. The only reason I give them 4 out of 5 stars is because outside the store always has so much trash just laying around. Come on clean up people.”

It’s a busy location but they always have time to focus on “you” when it’s your turn. Any wait time has ended up being worth it because they’re thorough & it seems like they genuinely care about helping people. Thanks G.E. Pharmacy team”

“Marc's is always a great idea !!! Check the ad for specials... if you don't get one in the mail, they're just inside the front door! They almost always have inexpensive and beautiful fresh flowers, and my favorite aisles are the house plants, and incredible buys... unusual things, nicely priced...you can spruce up any room in the house, without spending alot, and you can find fantastic gifts there, too !!!Back in the day, the only "Marc's" was out by Eastgate Shopping Center, and I believe it was called Bernie Shulman's...and a trip to that store was always a BIG DEAL!!! We are so lucky to have one this close by..And, a big PLUS...the employees I have dealt with have always been friendly and helpful people!!!Way to go, Marc's !!!”
