“I truly believe that good customer service is sometimes hard to find. For a business I believe it is very valuable the employees of the business are entrusted not only with carrying out the day in and day out operations but more importantly the handling of people. If you have a bad experience at a store you're not going to want to come back if you have a good experience you're going to want to come back. And every time I go to the Dollar General here in Perry I've had a great experience. And by that I mean there is a gentleman there by the name of Placido. I'm sure I've misspelled his name but he is incredible with the way that he greets people and handles the transactions with people. He always has an upbeat attitude and a smile on his face that is somewhat infectious. I think one day I didn't have enough change and he reached in his pocket and pulled him out and said he's got it. I mean he didn't even hesitate. I can go on and on but I just wanted to say thank you to Placido for being the exact representation of what good customer service is”

“Dollar General is one of my favorite stores. The price is almost always right and they always have what you’re looking for. My store ( the store nearest me ) is always neat and clean. I have been into stores where the isles are a mess and you can’t find anything. The only reason I give them 4 out of 5 stars is because outside the store always has so much trash just laying around. Come on clean up people.”
