Wouldn’t trust my car with anybody else. Been coming here for years. The owner is real laid-back and looks out for his customers. I bought a piece of crap tracker that I thought was good and he ended up fixing a lot of problems for me. It’s hard to find honest mechanics these days. Glad I found this place and the people.

My husband found a large metal shard in one of our rear tires. He was slated to travel 60 miles the next morning and we only own one car. He took the car to Franz the next morning. They were only open until noon, so we were in a pickle. They put the car up and found the metal piece had not punctured the tire. They checked the air pressure on all four tires and told him to a nice day…no charge. We will be delivering lunch to them in the coming week!

I am so grateful for the people that work here, I live in Florida and I called about my daughters car, she is 19 I spoke with them about brakes and roters, my daughter dropped her car off and said the people at the establishment were so nice. As they looked and checked out her car they called me and kept me updated on everything. I asked them for a last minute request about her thermostat and they were able to do it.
I don’t live in Painsville but with the awesome communication they had with daughter and myself and the friendliness and kindness I highly recommend. My daughter said her car feels like a brand new car.

Absolute trash business. Do not take your vehicle here for an alignment. They will charge you for work they didn't even do. Or do garbage repairs without your permission and over charge for it. LIARS. 7 hours they had my car today and didn't do a thing to it didn't even bother to call me to come get my car I just showed up right before they closed and it was still sitting in the parking lot
