If I could give 0 stars I would. They give you an 8 hr window on the day but decided to reschedule without telling us (we had to call and ask where our order was).I had a big order, scheduled someone to help since the drivers don’t help unload. They said well you better find another person by the following day or we will charge a storage fee… worst experience I’ve had getting anything delivered. First review I’ve ever done anywhere. amazed by how awful this company’s handles their own mistakes.

Their manager Anthony Dito has a very bad disposition and attitude to customers. His sole refusal to allow carbonblack to pass through his facility is causing quite the damper with multiple customers, as ABF was their go-to for hauling. I know they are getting paid well for moving this product! No other locations have any issues with hauling carbonblack, this issue seems to be linked to this location. Bad business practices, Anthony. And your attitude is the complete opposite of customer service!!! ABF your manager needs a refresher course, or a job where he is not put in the position of talking to customers. Very arrogant demeanor and very rude!**UPDATE** ABF stated they refused this shipment (see photo) because it was hanging off the skid. How sad that you let your ego's get in the way of things, as you are losing business for your company. We are a large string of 3PL warehousing who stores a lot of carbonblack, and ABF use to be one of our many customers go-to for shipping this product. Small carriers seem to be the way to go anymore. Maybe ABF will soon follow Yellow..... with this attitude, shouldn't be long.

While they were friendly and helpful when I showed up to pick up my package, I could not say I was satisfied with the service. They had my package for 8 days and missed three promised delivery dates, which is why I had to go get it myself. Then the box has three puncture holes in it with two looking like forklift bars. I am hoping it is OK when I open it tomorrow. I will report all to the shipper tomorrow.

Moving across the country is ordinarily a challenging process. U-Pack made it hassle-free. We called U-Pack, got a very reasonable quote (especially reasonable compared to competitors) and had a moving container delivered exactly when we needed it. The customer service was impeccable each time we communicated. Once dropped off, we had three days to pack it up and lock it and they took care of everything from there. They moved the unit from Ohio to MN and even stored it for us for a small fee until we could move in. They dropped the storage unit in front on our move day and had it picked up and out of the way the next day. Highly recommended!!!

After cleaning out Mom's house, there were a few things to take from Ohio to California. Mainly the desk my dad built. It seemed a big headache and cost to think about trying to rent a truck and do it myself. I was going to just forego taking the items but my kids said I would regret it. So I did a lot of research. I chose U-Pack for cross-country shipping and couldn't be happier. It was so super easy and affordable. I don't hand out "amazing" compliments often , but the whole process was AMAZING! They helped from beginning to end and they were in contact step by step. Everyone was super nice, professional and prompt. The unit was securely built and arrived clean. My brother, the packing guru, used straps to secure items. When I opened the door upon arrival in California, not a thing was out of place or damaged. It truly could not have been easier. We emptied the unit at our leisure (3 day window) and they promptly picked it up. I'm so glad I arranged to have items shipped. My kids were right - I would gave regretted not having my dad's desk. Thanks U-Pack for making it easy.

I can't speak for the other reviews but I've used ABF a few times now and I've found that the staff at the Cleveland terminal have been nothing but friendly, helpful and accommodating. I have a small business and pick up my shipments with a pickup truck and a small trailer. Fork truck drivers are skillful and smiling. No complaints from me, I ask my broker to use them for my shipments when possible.

This freight company is absolutely trash! They are never able to pickup shipments same day. The dispatchers are rude and dismissive. I would never recommend them and I work for a company that uses almost 5/6 different freight companies daily. This is the ONLY one who has a problem with picking up scheduled freight! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY they are worse than snail mail!

Originally scheduled for delivery a few days ago. Tracking kept pushing date back. Says it was due to be delivered today. Received a call saying the earliest they could deliver is a week from today and that there was nothing they could do about it. It’s just sitting at the service center. Paid over $500 for shipping for it to take over 2 weeks. Awful. Do not use this company. Unfortunately I had no choice.UPDATE: they managed to lose half of my shipment. Said they’d look into it. It’s been a week. Radio silence. I tried to submit a lost item claim and got a server error. This company is a scam.

I've moved many times all around the country over the years and have used self-loaded, modular moving containers several times, whether U-Haul, 1-800 Pack Rat, Pods, or U-Pack/ABF. Of all these companies, I've found U-Pack/ABF to be the most efficient, pain-free experience by far. They honor their commitments when it comes to delivering a cube to your door in the stated time period, position the pod exactly how you want so that you can load your stuff easily into it, and give you a good 2 days to load it before they pick it up. Once picked up, you can check online for the status and location of your cube - something that one of the above companies that rhymes with Sack Hat once failed to do in my case when they lost my container for 2 months and gave me false statuses the entire time. Everything with U-Pack/ABF, meanwhile, has always been smooth, efficient, and transparent. If their cubes are too small for you (they each fit a studio's worth of stuff), then it's not much of a stretch to reserve space in one of their trucks and hire folks to help you with loading and unloading. Smooth sailing all around, and I'm happy to recommend them on a totally unsolicited basis.
