Today I had the most disappointing experience I’ve encountered in my nearly three years of shopping at Aldi. I placed an Instacart order scheduled for pick-up between 6 p.m. and close, but the app showed that my order had not even begun to be prepared.
When I arrived at the store, I decided to do some additional shopping, as the app wouldn’t allow me to add items to the order. During checkout, I asked my cashier, Derrick, if he knew when my Instacart order might be ready, since I had placed it an hour ago. He responded, “Whenever we get it ready.” I explained that the order was supposed to be ready at 6 p.m. and asked about processing a refund. His response was dismissive and sarcastic, saying, “You can, I don’t care what you do,” and, “Of course we won’t just steal your money.”
I was extremely disappointed with his attitude, as well as with the store’s general organization. Many products were out of stock, and the overall quality of service fell short. I left feeling frustrated and let down by this experience.
For a more pleasant and well-stocked experience, I would recommend the Steelyard location.

The layout of the store was changed since Monday morning. Just stopped to pick up more milk and that was still in the same place. Lol

I used this one for the past 2 years but after the power was out for a couple days they were still selling the meat, cheese and other dairy in the coolers. I asked the employee if they had back up generators and she said no, we don't have anything like that, she told me the power was off for 2 days and the only thing they had to throw out was the milk and eggs. That was horrible because it was in the 80s outside with no power inside so all the open coolers were left to sour and they sold the food anyway which should be illegal! I put my cooler stuff back and got my dry goods and left. The reason I asked was because the feta and hummus looked bad.

I love shopping at Aldi's, you save money compared to the regular grocery stores. The only thing I hate about Aldi's.... Forcing shoppers to use self checkout by only have one cashier working. If I want to do all that extra work as a senior citizen, to checkout my own groceries,,,I might as well just shop online and do pickup at Walmart. I am not your employee, this is not how to keep customers happy,

Prices have gone up. Selection has gone down. Produce isn’t always fresh or it’s out of stock. Sales items are not always available. Not like it once was!!!
