Got my oil changed here, based on the good reviews, before taking a small road trip. No problems with the oil change, but turns out he didn't tighten the filter enough, and my car broke down early in the morning in the middle of Pennsylvania. Luckily I just needed my car towed, and the filter and oil replaced. I then turned around and headed back home not to risk getting stranded further away, but I had to miss out on my trip.
He should be very thankful that I caught the issue in time and there was no damage to the engine that he could be liable for. Hopefully he will take the time to double check the filter every time now, and this won't happen again.

Fairly new to the area, and I've been exploring options for an oil change as my car was due for one. I have only gone to Valvoline in the past, and wanted to try something new and J's was very close to me so I gave it a shot based on other great reviews.I am very happy with the service, and I was in and out in about 10-15 minutes. Price wise, it's pretty much the same as Valvoline when on sale via Groupon (which is what I have always done). Synthetic Oil Post-Tax came out to be $67. And the service provider did not try to upsell you on little things like wiper blades and air filters like Valvoline does.Highly recommend this company if you want to support local, and still pay a very reasonable price. 5 Stars.

A1 Service We always go here when we need The oil changed and my wife's car. He is always fair with his prices very knowledgeable. And doesn't try to sell you anything you don't need.

I first came here a couple years ago after realizing another shop in Columbus had stripped the drain plug while changing the oil in my car. I bought the supplies to change it myself and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why none of the sockets I had, including the size listed by the manufacturer, either didn't fit or just slipped over the bolt. The owner, Ricky, figured it out immediately and went to work on removing it. Thankfully he didn't charge for the extra time spent removing it and he even went to a nearby auto parts store to get a replacement. I've returned several times since because it's rare to find someone that genuinely cares about providing a quality service to their customers and that isn't just looking out for the quickest way to make a buck. I owned a business for 22 years and that's how I treated my customers - always going above and beyond, and for that he will always have my business and I refer people to this shop anytime the opportunity presents itself. Thank you!I actually thought I wrote this a long time ago so I guess this little feature on Google that asks you to review places you've been was worth turning on.

An oil change is something you don't think much about until you need one. And there's a lot of places to go to... mostly corporately owned franchises that don't care.With that said, give your business to J's Oil Change Service! Family owned, small business.... the owner is awesome. Quoted me a great price for a synthetic oil change.He doesn't skimp out on the details... checks your tire pressure, tops off you wiper fluid, and is genuinely a great dude!Plus, he's a fan of dogs.. ?Don't think twice, support a local business owner that takes pride in helping you.Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
