I had a large deposit I wanted to use for a new Checking Account , on a Saturday afternoon . I went to 5 other banks , only to be told there wasn't anyone available or I had to come back later next week . Third Federal had me setup in less than 30 minutes , from the time I walked through the door . I look forward to having them as my primary banking .

I cannot believe this location. They have a serious customer service problem and seemed to need to hire better employees that pay attention to detail. This is the third or fourth time that they have literally dropped someone else's money in my accounts. And then make me call only to get nasty and funky over the phone with me and there the ones dont know how to do their jobs and they made the mistakes. Well I know there is human error, but darn almost every other six months?... Get it together over there at that branch. I would never go to this branch after speaking with the manager Lisa, I see why her employees act and speak the way that they do. And dont let me get started on the customer call center, all I got to say if they continue with that type of miscommunication and attitudes then third federal seriously is going to loose a lot of customers. what I do know is that I would not deposit anything with this branch, and anyone that does better beware because your money might constantly end up in someone else account. SMH!!! I seriously think that there is some inside theft going on. I will be pulling my accounts from this bank because they have went downhill. After what I experienced this morning I do not want to do business with them anymore.

Really don’t seem to interested in responding emails about loans. I was interested in a home equity loan and I was sent a copy and paste response. Not personable and no connection so went with someone else instead .

Due to a mistake made by an employee at this location, I lost my locked in mortgage rate which resulted in me having to accept a rate significantly higher. When discussing options with the bank manager, not only did he refuse to acknowledge that a mistake was made, he was very rude about the entire process and refused to review the paperwork to help determine where the error was. The mistake in the paperwork was confirmed later by a third party (a loan that did not exist nor ever existed was included in the debt to income ratio). I've heard great things about other locations, so I highly recommend driving to a different Third Federal and avoiding this location.

I've been a happy patron since I moved here more than 10 years ago. This is an Ohio born and raised bank. I feel like the tellers here tend to be older (at least at the 4 branches that I frequent) and not very friendly, but hey they get the job done. I've only heard of Third Federal when I moved here to Ohio but I hear there are also branches in Florida (for those winter birds). I did my fair share of shopping around and happy to say this place has THE BEST interest and mortgage rates around. While I love the bank, the service and their competitive interest and mortgage rates, they are not as easily accessible as your local Starbucks (just not as many branches as other big banks here like Key or Chase), nor do they have ATMs and their hours are more limited than other banks.
