This place definitely deserves zero stars! Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
We had requested their services a week in an advance (for just labor, no truck) and officially got an appointment set up two days before the move. Note that the appointment was set for 9-10am. On the day of the move my husband showed up at the pickup spot at 9am on the dot and called them only to be told that they’ll be there at 11am. Around 11:30am we had called them again only to be told that someone kept them behind for a couple of hours and that they’d be there in less than an hour EVEN THOUGH WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT! My husband ended up having to unload the van by himself and got some help with the bigger stuff from the PackRat guy who was more helpful than these unprofessional workers who after more repeated delays arrived at 2:15pm! Their incompetence threw a wrench in all of our other plans for the day and left my husband with serious back pains. They also didn’t connect our washer properly and we now have to incur additional expenses to get it reconnected.
On top of that they couldn’t communicate at all because of the language barrier and this poses a serious issue. We will not be using their services again and would definitely recommend that no one else does.

"Quick and easy, stress-free"...this is not at all what I personally witnessed today as this company's employees moved my son and daughter in law's belongings from a storage unit into their new home. At one point, I told one of their employees he could get more work done if he stayed off his cell phone. Leaving the storage unit at the same time, the truck arrived 26 minutes after my daughter in law did. Both employees were giddy and laughing when they started unloading the truck.
One employee who apparently wanted us to experience his pastel weed leaf xunderwear either needs to wear a belt or keep his pants pulled up.
They were moving a three bedroom household and showed up in a 17 ft. truck which meant two trips. Of course they were being paid by the hour, so they didn't mind.
Boxes were labeled by the room they went to. Kitchen and Living Room boxes ended up on the 2nd floor in the Master Bedroom and we had to carry them downstairs.
We ended up moving a large number of boxes ourselves to get the job done.
A cabinet was damaged - the door ripped off of it and they didn't even tell anyone. My daughter in law found out when she went looking for them and they were sitting on the floor looking at the broken door and laughing!!
We do not recommend this. Company at all! Save yourself a lot of aggravation and look elsewhere.

My original reservation for movers with a different company fell through as they last minute did not show. I called Huffy’s and a nicely spoken woman took my information to check if anyone was available to help me move. Francklin and Almando showed up literally 30minutes later and did an amazing job of loading & unloading. They were very efficient and respectful, with no damages! I would definitely recommend them!

I was referred to this company originally & I wish I hadn’t been. When I first called, I spoke with Tonya. She had shared that she would be emailing me my estimate & when she did 1.) my name wasn’t correct & 2.) the link took me to another page where the “accept” button didn’t work. I called her back to inform her that again, my name/information wasn’t correct & I couldn’t “accept” the estimate. She sends me the EXACT same email with the name “Sophia” which again.. not my name. I call back today to cancel my appointment & how does Tonya answer? “Oh yes, this is Sophia.. I talked to you yesterday.” After informing her of my desire to cancel with the company, she proceeded to get defensive, make excuses & THEN offer me a “referral discount” when she didn’t even bother to do before.. My thing is this: I understand mistakes happen, we’re human. What I can’t justify is not correcting the mistakes & then proceeding to ask someone to spend $530 with your company & you don’t even have the decency to remember their name or send them the correct information to accept & go on about your business. Unprofessional.

Pat, Keith, Franklin…A Fantastic CrewHuffey sent 3 strapping, hardworking,polite, absolutely excellent guys to do my 9/1/23 move. They arrived on time, ready to go, worked nonstop, without a complaint, total courtesy. I was so impressed and grateful. We had a lot of heavy furniture, but they handled it all, without a scratch. It was a 10 hr backbreaking job. Fabulous.The owner, Tonya, was efficient and accommodating.Grateful for this crew!!!

Do not use these movers. They will tare up your house and refuse to pay for damages. It has now been a month and a half and still no response from them on the damages they caused in my house.

Huffey's of Pataskala sent a fantastic crew of 3 hardworking, strong, polite guys to do my 9/1/2023 move. They arrived on time, started right in , never stopped. It was a 10 hr backbreaking job, but they kept up the pace.They moved loads of heavy furniture without a scratch and put it all together at the new place.Easy and effective communication with the owner, Tonya, was appreciated. price was much less than other companies we contacted.This great crew is PAT, KEITH and FRANKLIN.

I’ll start this review by saying the actual 3 guys who moved our things were nothing but polite, apologetic, and got the job done. However, my issue overall is that I was quoted and paid my deposit to have things move at 9am on 3/11 and this was confirmed on my receipt. So on the day of the move I showed up at 9am and nobody ever showed. I called the office and she said I never confirmed my time and that she called and texted me but, I have no missed calls, or texts from anyone at Huffy. If they needed me to re confirm they should have left a voicemail!! She also stated they have 3 phone lines which is fine but, you should communicate via the line that we started the process with as not everyone picks up their phone for random numbers. They just gave my time away that I already paid for but, Tonya reassured me they could still do the move at 12pm instead, so we waited around. By 2pm we still haven’t heard anything and still nobody showed up. The office (Tonya) stopped picking up the phone and nobody contacted me until 3pm when the movers had finally showed up to the storage unit. This move should have only taken 3 hours and yet they were 7 hours late. I just find it to be completely unprofessional to screw clients around all day with zero communication what so ever. This completely set our move back an entire day!! It’s also not a good look when your employees are confirming their boss has terrible communication during my move as they immediately knew I was very heated with some not so nice words and upset over the entire day and situation. I won’t be reusing this company for any further moves and definitely would not recommend them if you are a person who needs clear communications!

Broke several pieces of furniture and did nothing to reconcile. The drivers were unorganized and pretty sure one was on drug's. Then when it came to payment even after tipping them they tried charging me for 4 extra hours and nowhere near what the quote was. Two of the guy's were great but definitely would not recommend

Did not show up even though I called them 3 times to make sure days before. I called the morning of and she said she didn’t have any movers in yet. Tried to offer discount through text message ( after they seen I posted this online just so they can say they offered one in their reply below) if I moved the NEXT DAY… I let them know TODAY was my deadline to be out my apartment, days ago, when I made the appointment. Unreliable Trash company.

This is business is a trusted member in good standing with the Pataskala Area Chamber of Commerce and I couldn't have been happier with my Huffy's experience! My initial call was answered by cheerful, knowledgeable Jeanie(?). She provided valuable information, answered all questions, and gave me good advice on how to best prepare on my end and keep costs down. HUFFY'S MOVERS ARE INSURED AND THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE PERMANENT EMPLOYEES, NOT TEMPS!!! This is a must have requirement, as other movers have left me with damaged furniture and holes in walls without even alerting me. I discovered this later, after my bill was paid! You can also do an internet search and find thousands of moving horror stories. Rob, Chris, and Trey couldn't have been more professional, efficient and pleasant. They were ON TIME, super quick (I said they were showing off, LOL!) and my move couldn't have gone any better. Lastly, my bill came in UNDER ESTIMATE because the guys were so efficient???? and because I paid with in cash???? I don't know but, "Thank you Lord!" THANK YOU AND HATS OFF TO YOU ALL AT HUFFY'S!!!!!!

Don’t use this moving company was quoted a price over the phone, then the day of the move was more than the quote. Very unprofessional especially since I have used the company twice before. Be aware they will claim they sent an email for the quote even when they didn’t. Overcharged for the move used more guys than needed. Get everything in writing or email before the day of the move or you will regret using this company! You lost a customer never again will I use your company for moves!!!

Huffys did a move for me about six months ago.It was easy to schedule last minute, and rates were very affordable.Service was great, so being a fair guy I had to tip.The guys (Don and Theron) were fantastic,Respectful, Quick, and careful.Such a great moving experience, I couldn't have done it myself.I strongly recommend this company!
