Mountain bike trail off the bike and hike trail. Groomed, decent for beginners. Has hard stuff too depending on the sections.

Excellent. Easy for a beginner. Wonderful landscape.

As a hiker, the East Rim Trail is a low to moderate difficulty trail; the high difficulty bike route offers several lovely off the path views that most riders will probably miss, but hikers can enjoy with impunity. I'm any case, it's a great 2 mile loop that's worth the effort.
