βThis place is so far above and beyond any other grocery store it's not even close. I went to the Deli Counter yesterday looking for 6 Ribeyes. 5 were left in the glass display, meaning he had to go in the back and cut a fresh one. Instead of giving me the one extra, this man cut 6 fresh out of the freezer without me asking him to do so. It's customer service like this that makes this Heinen's stand out. Also their kindness is always appreciated.β

βWe love the prices, quality, and convenience. They have most of the basic groceries - produce, breads, dairy, meats, seafood, canned goods, beer & wine, and more - at lower prices than the other stores. They also have several sections of specialty items - housewares, toys, clothing, etc. - that changes regularly. You never know what you might find. Bring a quarter to unlock the shopping cart (you'll get it back) and bring your own bags. The employees are friendly and helpful. It isn't a superstore, so there are a few items you won't find there - that's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. But for the money, you're better off getting most of what's on your list at Aldi's.β
βThe Heinen's on Green Rd is our very favorite grocery store! It's an old family business. There are always plenty of friendly, knowledgeable employees stocking shelves, and they're happy to answer questions. The produce is the best anywhere around - WAY better than the local Giant Eagle stors and even better than Whole Foods. Organic vegetables are available. They sell dry-aged steaks, which are the most delicious, tender steaks you can find in our area. Very nice meat and seafood department. Very nice bakery, as well.
The only negative thing about Heinen's is their PRICES for meat, vegetables, household items, crackers, cookies, soft drinks (always sky high), name-brand canned goods, bread, ethnic food, frozen goods, etc. I generally buy those things at Marcs, Target, or Walmart. Heinen's does have good sales when you can catch them, and Heinen's brand of canned goods and dairy are generally equivalent to name brands. We always check their weekly sale brochure for deals, and sometimes you save extra if you have a store savings card. When we get home and look at the sales receipt, we try to remember that we're supporting a well-regarded business in our little city and their excellent employees. You get what you pay for.β
βAldi has been my life saver. With my car being down, it's been a major asset for ordering my products & having them delivered. Yes, I do enjoy shopping myself, I still get fresh food & good quality.β
βLike family. Getting really pricy. Median price is 7.99. But. This is my FavoritE grocery store. I know where everything is. I don't get tired walking. Great produce.β

βWe stumbled upon Heinenβs one evening when we were looking for a grocery story in Chagrin Falls. What a charming place! They have delicious food to order, as well as wine and beer to buy by the glass. They also sell Harney and Sons loose leaf tea. What a treat!β

βI like Aldi's, sometimes produce items are out of stock but if you stop back a couple days later it's restocked. But if there is a non-food item you like, buy it when you see it because it probably won't be there when you go back. Go in, grab a box (or bring your recycle bags), fill it up and check out. Simple as that.β
βLove this place. Live in Florida and its my first stop when I visit. The bakery is amazing and the prepared deli foods are awesome. I love the chicken Romero and the steak.β

βSome great items in here. Found a seasonal Califia Cold Brew marked down to $.99 as well as Chobani Oatmilk at $1.99. Would have paid so much more for it elsewhere! Worth it!β
βGood variety in breads. However all stores put out previously frozen bread with no warning so it needs refrozen or will mold quickly. Good produce, great cheeses etc love the chicken cranberry salad, convenient deli packages, limited meats. Like the selections in the frozen selections, Like the unusual items that they bring in. Love the buy out area and organic. If your Aldi's is not top condition report it to the Corpβ

The flower department is one of my favorite parts. Their arrangements are always gorgeous, fresh, and long-lasting, whether youβre picking up a simple bouquet to brighten your home or something more elegant for a special occasion. The selection feels thoughtful and adds such a welcoming touch to the shopping experience.
Shopping at Heinenβs feels less like a chore and more like a treat. Itβs clear they take pride in offering quality and making customers feel valued. A wonderful place for both everyday essentials and little luxuries!β

βI only shop by reviews and i must say im thankful for having this store being close by compared to Giant Eagle. I found markdowns of all kinds and was even happier to see they also have HOME DECOR AND APPAREL..... Wow. Although the meat wasn't much i will keep this store as my go to for their wide selections. βOnce I thought just another inner city grocery store, but they do lottery, pay bills, cash checks, and money orders. They also sell a variety of things from purses to shoe's, appliances for both kitchen and bathroom. The butchers aren't there everyday, but are excellent, willing to supply fresh meat, if not pleased with out front. The best deal is a 10 lb bag of wings for $15, if you don't believe of the savings, try finding that anywhere. Lastly the cashier's have you leaving the store with a smile.β

βI like that this store is clean and organized. I like the large options for groceries. The only thing I will complain about is the lack of clerks at checkout. While I visited, there was only one line open. Granted, the manager did come up front and open another line to help alleviate some of the congestion. This is a new store so I will give some grace in hopes this small inconvenience will improve.β
βI typically only go to Costco for a few things I love.Coffee~Kirtland k cups, the seasonal pumpkin pie, cheesecake, Pho, roasted chicken, turkey pot pie.Today the cheesecake looked odd. Like it wasn't finished. Also almost everyone had an earth quake crack on top. Please don't ruin this beautiful, tasty bargain. It's one reason I got a membership. It has always been a crowd pleaser.Also the burgers in meat department no longer taste as good. I don't buy them anymore for that reason.Giving up letting us use Discover after mid November 2023 is also a big disappointment.Ok I'm done.β
βBeautifully stocked store with competitive pricing. However, no carts to car prohibits us seniors from shopping here at hilltop. Sad decision from management. Your business would triple if you let carts out of storeβ
βvery nice people and very quick, be extra careful backing in to the dock as the docks are inside a building and very squished. parking is across the street, call the number on the fence and you should be all good to go.β
βA great shopping experience! Grocery stores are all pretty much the same, except for product freshness and customer service. This store had both categories 10/10. We couldnβt find an obscure item and an employee noticed our searching and tracked it down for us all the while thanking us for shopping there. Definitely recommend!β
βI have live in the Shake Square area for over 40 years. I was so happy when this Dave's Supermarket open. It is a great place to shop and the items are always fresh the meats,fruits,and vegetables.The store is clean. The only thing that I see that need some improvement is some of the workers need to be more friendly and caring but that is a small thing for the great service that this store does for this area.β

βThis Dave's Market & Eatery located in Euclid has been newly renovated & is always pretty well stocked & they have a fair amount of cashiers on the schedule so there's usually not a long wait time to checkout. The only issue I have w/ this location is that some of the people in the hot food section can be very rude.β

I live in the area so I won't bash them ? but yeah prices are like Dave's supermarket on shaker square...welp ?β

βEverything is always so good! If you have a small gathering, they have a lot of excellent small bites in their frozen section. I bought sushi this week - delicious/nice size portion! The individual burgers are fabulous - after grilling these, you will never buy anything else!β
