I tried to turn in a dress to get some money out of it. They told me they would contact me in 30 minutes and I didn’t hear anything from them for two days. I then came back to see how much money I would be getting out of the dress( a high end prom dress with no tear) and they told me $12 is what I would be getting so I told them I would just take the dress and as I was leaving the store, one of the cashiers rudely said to me “by the way, we aren’t even supposed to take formal dresses in the first place.” It would’ve been really nice to know that the day I brought the dress into the store. So I called the store and they basically told me to get over it. Never coming here again because that is not the way to treat a customer, ESPECIALLY if they weren’t being rude. I did nothing wrong.

They're anti-gun. AKA against law abiding citizens defending themselves. They have a no gun sign out front. Very small and near the floor. Easy to miss. Probably not legally enforceable as it legally has to be posted where one would easily see it. Not near the floor on a 2 inch x 2 inch sticker.No matter what side of the gun debate you are on, you must know that those signs only stop law abiding citizens from coming inside. Law breakers will ignore them. So what the sign does is stop the only people that may be able to protect you in a bad situation from being able to do so. Remember, when seconds count the police are minutes away! You all can effect change by voting with your wallet and not blessing establishments such as this one with your hard earned money.

Don’t offer to take clothes and pay cash and not take anything. I had multiple bags with high end and in trend items and was told they didn’t want to pay because it didn’t match the store and was too new. Waste of my time.

Don’t waste your time with them. Mocked the clothes I brought in as a group when only one person should be going through my bin, DID NOT TAKE A SINGLE ITEM. Worst, picky, platos closet location.

Wasted my time they couldn't take my uggs or any of my clothes. Like who needs a receipt to donate there own shoes? Some of them was F21 clothing this is the most uptight store ever. Y'all can't take designer but y'all won't take cheap cute forever 21 clothes either? Pick a side. Even good will took my clothes most people would appreciate it. It's a difference of being bougie and self centered.There just selfish!

Really uneducated as far as what clothes are trending. They pass on popular items repeatedly. Take a look around the store to see what they are actually purchasing. I see so many out of date, worn looking pieces.

Everything is over price or the same price if bought brand new. Why would I buy used clothes if I can spend the exact same amount on new clothes?

Absolutely LOVE it at the perrysburg location!! The staff was great! Very helpful and nice. Emma was our cashier and we couldnt have asked for a better cashier! ❤ she was especially friendly to my 3yr old autistic son. She talked to him and made him happy also which most ppl are just rude. I think all staff that was working today 11/01/21 should get recognition because every single 1 of them were helpful and nice to us. Thank u for having GREAT STAFF oh and great prices?

This place was very dirty. And the clothes they accept look like the clothes from Good will. Their bathrooms were nasty and there was dried blood all over the floor Gross

This is the best Plato's Closet I've been to yet. Leah and the others are SO friendly! I had to get rid of some old clothes to accommodate new ones and their prices were far more fair than the Plato's on Alexis and even more so than Clothes Mentor. They are going to tell you how much they'll put it on the floor for then offer you half. This is who I'll do business with from here on out.

Decent, quite. Larger selection on left side of store than right. Has shoes, summer clothes. Northface jackets...leather jackets. Graphic Tee. Reasonable pricing with a clearance rack.

Idk why there's so many bad reviews. Maybe they did have some bad staff a while back, but the people there are nice! They are definitely understaffed right now, but who isn't lol. People need to chill and realize people are just trying to work in super stressful environments right now and be glad these people are actually working.
