This is the worst Talbots, it needs new management that know current promotions and customer service. I believe the Store Manager is the tall, dark haired women who never kindly greets anyone, smiles or offers any assistance without groaning. She is so rude, I went in asking for a price adjustment ( my first time ever asking) on a sale cashmere scarf I purchased at another Talbots 3 days ago. She told me that her cashmere is not on sale and she will never give a price adjustment. I had the scarf with the tags still on it and it had the sale price handwritten but she refused to correct the issue. So, I returned the scarf to her store at $135, called customer service when I got home and ended up getting the cashmere scarf basically free ($60 w/ free shopping since I am Premier Card Holder).

Future customers BEWARE! If I could give this store zero stars, I would! Horrible customer service and have NEVER been treated so poorly by a sales associate. I had $106 in merchandise credit from a gift I had previously returned. After four store visits, I still had yet to find anything that might fit. So, I inquired about exchanging the merchandise credit for a gift card to give to my sisters - cannot do according to their policy. I asked to transfer the credit - nope! cannot do according to their policy. So I took my sister to the store to pick out clothes to use with my merchandise credit. While shopping we were not acknowledged, not helped, and treated as an inconvenience by one sales associate. They truly made me feel marginalized and inferior. Needless to say, I will NEVER return to Talbots again. While I understand it is a higher end clothing retail store, it's certainly not worth a penny of my hard-earned money. Next time I'll go to Chico's just a few doors down where I'll be greeted with the respect I and all customers deserve!

This my number one place to shop for more than 20 years. I have noticed a decline in the quality of some of their clothing. Their clothing is pricey but it lasts for many years and I shop during sales. Associates are friendly and helpful.

I was ready to leave because I didn't see any bathing suits. The lady went on back and brought up what they had. Found one that fit. What a delightful experience. Customer service is wonderful! And received half off! Yippy
