“I don't know who needs to hear this; but Home Depot and their online ordering / customer service is really great. I've ordered many projects through online order service - ranging from a major garage organization project to outfitting our new sunroom and several painting projects in between. From lighting to furniture - great selection and fair pricing brings me back to Home Depot again and again. Tips: 1) Sign in, make an account, and create specialized lists for your projects, room by room. It's a great way to keep track of things you love and monitor price for sales, etc. 2) Do not fall for "estimated delivery". It's truly an estimate and there is a difference between the ship date (start of delivery) and delivery date (end of delivery). This will vary greatly depending on where you live and which distribution center or store is shipping your item. The process is easy to follow once the item is shipped / picked up by the carrier - but until then, you will not have information. Be patient and it will end well. Most of the time. 3) Do not hesitate to engage a chat session with a customer service specialist. I have resolved every single issue with an online rep and they have been absolutely wonderful. 5-star service.”
