Absolutely terrible. We have been a customer for 20 years and recently had to switch to another provider due to the horrible customer service from AmeriGas. You cannot reach anyone at AmeriGas. You can only get some over seas call center that refuses to help. Nobody at AmeriGas cares about their customers, or the quality of service. AmeriGas is a terrible company. Nobody should use them!!!!!!!!

I believe your tank rental fee structure is unfair to customers like me who use propane for auxiliary items and not for the main home. I feel the fee should be graduated so it would be less. I order twice per year, and I'm a long time customer, but i can't ever order enough gas to meet your fee waiver amount.

Huge shout out to Mary in scheduling and Robert in delivering! They both went above and beyond with helpful friendly customer service! As my first time owning a home with propane, they were both wonderful in explaining everything to me so that I know what to do going forward! Appreciate being in good hands with both of them on a very cold day!!!

Called in for an emergency fill for our company. It was 10 mins from hanging up the phone, to a fill truck pulling into our lot.

If you are looking to get your propane tank filled, this company is happy to help. If you need to discuss an issue with regards to the meter on your tank, forget about a person to speak with. Just spend your valuable time typing out the problem and then nothing really happens. Fill out the survey with a bad rating to try for a response, you get a call from 866 area code out of the blue. You don't answer it because of so many spam calls. It turns out to be Amerigas and that was their effort to reach you. All we want is to determine why our meter is faulty again (remote meter). The driver is the only customer service-oriented person we have dealt with.

A couple of months ago I tried to go to the on-line acct to see when my next delivery was scheduled. The help text gives a detailed explanation on how to do that, but it did not match the look of the site, therefore I could not find it. I contacted Chat Support to ask how to do it. After a long wait, I was connected, but the person could not answer the question of where to find it on the site...they could only answer when the delivery was scheduled.
This brought up another problem...I had requested a 4-week delivery schedule several times (previously), but it was still at a 9-week delivery schedule. This support person DID now successfully make that delivery schedule change (4 weeks later - 2 weeks ago now), the delivery was made. I am assuming we will get another delivery 4 weeks after that, but I still cannot find that on my on-line account (give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime...).
2 stars = finally got my delivery schedule fixed, but it was pretty painful to get there!

The worst company I have ever dealt with. Everything has a fee, and Amerigas does not do what they say. Hard to get things accomplished, everything is outsourced to the Philippines. I am not criticizing the employees, I’m putting the blame on Amerigas and the upper management. Delegating authority does not relinquish responsibility. Not sure who is responsible for day to day operations, I got a different answer or response every time I called.

I’ve been sent multiple survey requests for the same transaction. Still absolutely, completely terrible. I was overcharged for a propane delivery, getting more propane than ordered. I’ve requested call backs, but was only threatened with late fees for not paying the total delivery that I didn’t ask for.
Miserable propane company.

The service was great but the $250 rebate was a bad , when I tried to use it , it was declined. Someone else took all of it. I don't know but I think it was a scam....
