Stopped in after being unable to get the part I needed at local big box automotive stores. The fellas at Lucore are knowledgeable, and were able to get me the parts I needed in 10min. And they have some awesome muscle cars in the parking lot.

Took my 1989 S10 in after major suspension mods. Rich was very professional and knowledgeable. Lucore definitely earned repeat business from me!!! Rates were more than fair and amount of time to dial in the suspension was faster than I would’ve expected. Handling is much improved. ?

They do great work, but only if you know what you want. They are very skilled at older cars which is rare, and can fix pre computer controlled stuff, which most won't touch. On newer stuff I got the typical BS excuses, which i didn't expect, but it is what it is.. still would go back but only to have things i wanted done and didn't want to do myself. Again, i'd trust them to do any work, maybe just not troubleshoot the issues..

Friendly service and did the work as scheduled in the time promised. I had front brakes done and cabin/air filters replaced. Reason I went to Lucore is the dealer stopped offering the 15% Costco discount. When I got my bill from Lucore - the price after the 15% Costco discount was HIGHER than the dealer's written estimate, without any discount.Long story short - very expensive so won't be returning. I wanted to support this small business but pricing is upside down.EDIT after owner response:I'm at the dealer today who provided the estimate i mentioned in my review above (for an oil changes on wife's car) and asked if their estimates include parts AND labor and the service advisor and service manager both confirmed they DO.What that means - Lucore charged me a total of $152 for two cabin filters that the dealer would have charged $80 (both figures include parts and labor). So Lucore's charge is nearly double. I'm embarrassed by letting this happen because I didn't ask for a written estimate before authorizing the work....that's on me.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

I had a very poor experience at Lucore. First visit, so I called to make sure they could service my vehicle. Upon arrival I gave the information and was asked if it was a diesel- to which I responded no. Turned over the key and he said this is a key to a Mercedes. I indicated yes, it's a Mercedes. He said I thought it was a Ford. Started over- he asked me again if it was a diesel. I replied again it is not a diesel. Only wanted an oil change and tire rotation. but agreed to a diagnostics test due to a low fluid level- which I informed them of at drop off. Got a call during the day saying the car won't start, needs a new battery. Gave permission, not having much choice. Felt it odd since there was no prior indication the battery was an issue. Got a call later that the car was done. Got dropped off, went to the door- closed and locked. Called the number, no answer. The day was windy and cold so this was not optimal. Started walking around the lot and a man was coming out of the back storage (neither person I interacted with introduced themselves). I had to ask him if he worked there- he said yes. Checked me out- at which time he informed me there would be an extra 5% charge for credit card use. I wasn't happy about that- if you are going to do that it should be on your website and at the counter. The document they gave me didn't have my VIN number on it, mileage, any relevant vehicle information. They charged me an additional $50 for "extra oil". There was no diagnostic report- just a charge with the exact same information I gave them at check in. The battery was $200. They are 1/4 mile from Costco it is half of that there. I called about the RO (repair order) and lack of information. There person I talked to claimed it was on there. I scanned it and emailed it to them and asked them to email me a copy of the RO and the diagnostic report. No response. They do not have a legitimate management system- such as Mitchell1- or, they were unable to produce the documents. I even offered to drive back down and pick them up. Also all the settings on the vehicle such as radio, onboard computer, etc. were totally jacked up upon return. Very poor customer service, lack of knowledge, lack of reporting leads to serous questions about overall skill level and business ethics. I would stay far away from this establishment.

I have a 2016 Honda Civic that I've been trying to do a wheel hub bearing replacement on and have been struggling to do it myself. I took my wheel hub assembly here when I wasn't able to finish installing the wheel hub (was in about 80% before I couldn't more it anymore) and called lucore Automotive the next morning letting them know my issue. Within 30 minutes of calling them and taking the part to them I had a finished wheel hub bearing assembly. Really impressed by this service for this particular issue. Five stars.

If I could give Dave Carter and his staff 10 stars, I would! Dave went above and beyond on the engine issue I had with my 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. He found info that I was unaware of about my problem, got me set up with a trusted Hyundai dealer to fix it. His work saved me not only time, but thousands of dollars. Thanks again, Dave!

I was satisfied with my experience at Lucore Automotive, and I would certainly recommend them. Especially if you have a Costco Membership. My 2006 Accord needed to have the catalytic converter replaced, so I purchased the parts I needed and brought it to Rich and his team. Once they got into it, they discovered that due to the excessive rust underneath my car, I would need my entire exhaust system replaced. They were able to order the parts they needed and get my car taken care of pretty quickly. I appreciated them being thorough and not just throwing the new catalytic converter there when likely it would have only been a temporary solution and meant more of a headache for me in the long run.The only issue I had with the work was the bracket for the muffler that came in the exhaust kit they used was too large, so my muffler rattled extremely loudly when idling until I was able to bring the car back in about a week later. To be fair, this only occurred once the car was warmed up, so perhaps they didn't notice on the test drive. When I brought my vehicle back in, the team was able to get a new bracket on my muffler and out the door in about an hour and a half. While it was inconvenient going back again, my issue was resolved for a very fair price, it just took two trips (hence four stars).

I have a 2008 Fordf-250 diesel pick up. It blew a head gasket as well as other engine issues. I had trouble finding someone who works on diesel engines. Lucore did a diagnostic and we decided to drop a new engine in. They did an excellent job. It runs like new and is warrantied unlimited mileage and 5 years. Although getting an engine replacement is not cheap they did an excellent job. The truck runs perfectly. I would trust Lucore if you need a major auto repairService: Engine repair

Fast good work. When other diesel shops were over a week before looking at it they had it fixed 3 working days.

Rich and the team down at Lucore Automotive are top notch. Rich has done a ton of work on my ‘64 Riviera ranging from custom exhaust work to mounting and balancing some custom wheels and tires. Most recently he helped chase down a driveshaft vibration and now the big Buick rides as smooth as glass. If you have a classic car or just a daily driver, give these guys a chance….you won’t be disappointedServices: Tyres
