Great pet items. Friendly staff. Puppy class seems good (I have only had 1 session and will update after completion).
Update: Puppy class was great, love the trainer. She is friendly and knowledgable. Grooming is good. Though I some groomeres care less than others. Overall good experience.

I’ve tried to schedule five grooming appointments for my two pets, but every single time, they’ve canceled at the last minute. The first time, they called just before canceling, and I let it slide since it was around Christmas. I rescheduled for a few days later, only for them to call again this time just 15 minutes before my appointment to cancel because the groomer had called out. The frustrating part? My appointments were booked with different groomers, so that excuse didn’t really make sense.
At that point, I told them how inconsiderate it was to cancel with such short notice, especially since they had just done the same thing a few days prior. After some back and forth, they managed to fit me in. My dogs looked great and seemed happy, so I was willing to give them another shot despite the hassle.
Then, on my third attempt this time just for one of my dogs and they called an hour before drop-off to cancel again. Same reason: the groomer called out. At this point, after five cancellations in a row, I’m done. I’ve rearranged my schedule every time to make these appointments work, only to be left scrambling last minute. If you’re looking for a reliable groomer, I wouldn’t waste your time or money here.

They do a great and quick job. Been here several times for grooming, vaccines, food, gear, and everything else. The staff is super friendly and they make owning a pet incredibly easy. This store is awesome.

Very rude old lady at the cat adoption station. Yelled at my baby and dog for looking at the kittens.. no need to be so hateful!!

I went in to buy 2 guppies and they would not sell me them because my tank “wasn’t big enough”. A 3 gallon tank is plenty big enough for two half inch guppies. My tank is lit, heated, and filtered (much better than the environment they were living in at the pet store). The worker went to get some manager that ended up being as equally incompetent as the first worker by saying that the guppies were not bred for feeding while they were actively dying and being eaten by other animals at the bottom of their own tanks. The worker had nothing to say about the dying fish or sick beta fish in cups along their aisles. Me and my family have taken great care of fish for years. The worst experience i’ve had at a Petsmart, I will continue to speak out about how my family and I were treated here.

To sum it up, this place is absolutely horrible I brought my dog here just to get “cleaned up” and a small “trim” they clearly did not follow the requests that I mentioned “multiple” times I dropped my dog off they told me it would take about 2-3 hours to groom my pet. I requested a “trim” clipping my dogs nails and a bath which understandably would take that long I come to pick up my dog. And I literally about fell over when I saw her she was unrecognizable it was so bad. Completely shaved I just didn’t even know what to say they tried to make the excuse she was matted and held up one peace of her fur that doesn’t tell me anything you know what it does it tells me that you are LAZY. My dog is a golden doodle she’s supposed to be fluffy and have curls now she looks nothing like a golden doodle I don’t even know what to do.

There are really no words for the traumatizing experience not only for my dog but for our entire family!! I have a 1year old golden doodle named willow who I took to the plain city petsmart to get a bath haircut & nail trim !! I specifically wrote in the comment section when I booked her appointment and even when I driver off I did not want her shaved but trimmed up & the groomer Damian had told me we might have to cut her a little short but that’s all he said & I was ok with that !! Because that’s been told to me pretty much every time I’ve taken her to get groomed !! Which is understandable considering her hair type with being a golden doodle! But never has she ever been completely shaved this was completely unacceptable !!!! I did not even recognize my dog when he brought her out I was like this isn’t my dog where’s my dog at ! She went from a golden doodle to looking like a rat so heartbreaking I literally cried On my way! Home not just for myself but for my poor fur baby !!! She has to be completely traumatized from this horrible experience!!! & when I talked to the manager all she could say was that Damian the one who completely transformed my poor pup ! Was that he told me he might have to cut her a little short! A little short was ok with me but a little short & completely shaved are two different things I will never take my dog back there ever!!!! Again I just pray this never happens to another dog and there family ever again so with that being said I don’t recommend taking your dog / cat to petsmart grooming in plain city ever !! You can literally see my poor girls pink skin so sad ? & had to pay 100 for that they didn’t even trim her nails I think he just shaved her because it doesn’t take 3 hrs to shave a dog I’m not stupid Never Again !!
