Customer service is key to a good business. If you want to see what not to do, this is the place!
I called in asking about a product to make sure it was in stock before making the extended hour plus drive. (I had checked with the Sunbury location and was told this store had it in stock.) I asked if the product could be held so it was not sold and I would have a wasted trip. I was cut off mid sentence with a disgusted “NO”, followed by a “this is a first come first serve business, sir.”
I’ve never had an issue with any of the other Do It Best locations or any other business holding items until the end of the day and have had items held at this location previously.
If you can avoid this location, I would ENTIRELY!

I am with Pleasant Valley Joint Fire District in Plain City and I want to say a huge THANK YOU to Do it best for assisting me with the Smoke Detector Drive in our Senior Community by giving a discounted price to the approved detector for that Community. Bob and the rest of the employee's at Do it best are always willing to help out the community.

Went to go buy some weed and feed for my yard and some water softener salt on my day off… I hustled 10 miles to get there before they closed… I made it with seven minutes to go. I knew exactly where I was going and what I was getting, and it would only take me one minute. So I hustled through the front door and the guy at the cash register looked at me, pointed at his watch, and said just a heads up you got seven minutes. I believe that was the rudest thing I’ve ever seen from customer service in a long time… Not just the words, but his actions… Needless to say , they just made me an ace hardware customer! I was about to drop $60-$70 on some water softening salt and some weed and feed… ace hardware could take care of me now with two minutes to go… May be you should train your customer service a little better!

Went there to spend at least a hundred dollars. Needed to replace the strainer basket in our kitchen sink. I asked for a spanner wrench to remove the strainers. The heavy guy (about 60) tried to sell me a tiny little wrench that would not have even come close to fitting. When I told him it would not work he walked away. On way past the cashier she asked if he had helped us. He replied to her yes but they were to stupid to realize it.. went to Ace just down the street and gave the owner the same request. With in a few minutes we had the correct wrench and have now finished our project. Have a hard time believing big boy is still employed at Washington.

Love having the napa and hardware stores together. I can get everything I need for car repairs! They are somewhat limited on hardware but it's also 1/10th the size of lowes great for picking up a few things right down the road.
