This review is well overdue, but honestly I haven't quite known how to put it into words how wonderful our experience was with Chris, and how almost 2 years later we are still reaping the benefits.Chris spent 4 weeks with my stubborn (then) 9 year old girl, Stormy, in February of 2022. She had major issues with getting along with other dogs, and after nearly a year of her living with a new dog, Rex, she continued to fight with him. That's when I knew I had to do something, and I put my girl in Chris's hands.He was the perfect fit for her, and got her to where she needed to be with respecting me, my partner, and Rex. She respects and understands the e-collar, she sits & waits patiently for the 'ok' at meal times, but most importantly her and Rex have become best buds. They have so much fun together now and I have had a load of stress lifted off my back.Stormy has turned into quite the lover, and her eyes are softer, and I know this is part due to the work Chris did with her. She is happier and behaves much better.So thank you Chris for the work you did with Stormy, and for teaching us more about dog behaviors.We would highly recommend Chris for anyone who is needing corrective behavior training with their dogs both young or older.

Chris was a perfect fit to train our Australian Shepherd in being the best dog he could be. 2 weeks after having him back home we're delighted to include our dog (STRESS FREE) in our family activities instead of managing chaos with his behaviors coupled with our 4 young children. Chris' method is clear, concise, direct, caring, and very well executed. We were well prepared when our dog came back home and have easily continued his lessons on our own. I highly recommend Chris, "The Dog Trainer" and this experience has exceeded my expectations in every way.

Our sweet Bella was a terror in the neighborhood, distracted by everything, and pulling me to the ground, and on a lot of meds for anxiety. After spending a few weeks with Chris, she is all sweet and gentle through and through. She's support level trained, and I feel like the dog whisperer with her. She no longer needs meds. And walking with her is pure joy.

Would recommend Chris to anyone! Our puppy is now the best version of himself. We had lots of issues controlling his energetic personality and felt like we were constantly trying to keep him from chewing things, jumping on people, stealing our kids’ toys, counter surfing, dragging us on the leash etc. He now listens so well and has significantly better manners. We are LOVING our sweet puppy and everyone who comes to our house is so impressed with how different he is (and they are very happy to no longer be jumped on and nipped at☺️)! Five star training program!!

We recently sent our two dogs to Chris. One set in her ways at 5 years old and a pup 7 months old. They both had different issues that caused us stress. The pup invaded personal space, jumped on people young and old, and would mouth on our guest and our forearms. The oldest would aggressively bark at people and dogs passing by, delivery workers, and showed signs of aggression on leash and around food. Both didn’t listen well and rarely would come when called. Fourteen days with Chris and that all changed. They have been home for more than two weeks and the changes have been AMAZING. We would highly recommend him to anyone hoping to learn how to be a better dog owner and have a better understanding of the relationship between owner and dog. We look forward to boarding our pups with Chris anytime we are out of town as well! Thank you, Chris! Our lives are improved greatly because of your hard work!

Chris exceeded all of our expectations and more! We dropped off some crazy, hyper dogs and received back some relaxed well behaved pups that can finally be members of our family again. They work well under high distraction, have fun playing in the yard, are gentle around our baby, and relaxed and lovable members of our family. We can’t thank Chris enough for the peace of mind he gave us! Once he brought them home, he did a great job of teaching us how to maintain good and correct any bad behaviors.We can’t recommend him enough- definitely worth the investment!

Worth every penny! Our 1 year old dog was completely wild. His nickname used to be flight risk, now he's able to play off leash. Our dog Elliot had difficulty staying focused on our commands and listening in most situations. Elliot's recall is so amazing now, he is able to play in our (not fenced) backyard without his lead! He is friendly when meeting new people and has such good manners. Most importantly he seems so happy. He's able to go with us whenever possible and is so excited to show off everything he knows. He has so much confidence in his training and it's really helped with his separation anxiety. Would and have recommended this program for any dog owner struggling to find the right training program. The e-collar has also been very beneficial in correcting some bad play nipping behaviors. Since Elliot has been to the dog trainer we have built on his new confidence and taught him additional commands like drop it. The commands he learned at the dog trainer opened a whole new world of opportunities for Elliot to explore safely. I was always worried when taking him out that he would jump on people and scare them or just take off, now we both have the confidence in his behavior to go just about anywhere! I'm so grateful we found this trainer, he truly knows how to give dogs a new outlook on life.

Chris has done wonders training our 2 German Shepherds this past year. We honestly were at a crossing point with the oldest dog for bad behavior with other dogs and on walks. We are now able to take her anywhere with us and introduce her to other dogs with confidence. He truly is a miracle worker and we enjoy our pups so much more! Our quality of life has improved and the dogs are more well rounded. Thanks, Chris!!

I have attempted to contact this business twice over this summer. Once by text on June 30 as requested on his voicemail recording and again by phone a few weeks later. I left a voicemail and still have not had any response.This business comes highly recommended. Unfortunately, I will have to look elsewhere due to lack of responsiveness from them.

We took our Rott here, at 5 months old he had our dog trained better than I expected. I checked other trainers and he was by far the best deal. I didn’t choose this trainer because of his cheaper rates. I chose him because I saw one of the dogs he trained and was blown away how well trained she was. You drop your dog off abs he brings them home and gives you a lesson . Thanks again Chris, it’s been 4 months since he trained our dog and we are very happy with the results.Billy E.

Chris is very thorough! the stay at home lesson really showed us how our husky attempts to be dominate, and how we should appropriately teach her that we are the leaders.

My wife and I are very happy with the training Chris did for our 10-month-old Bernie. Boone is a very large headstrong dog and we were a bit concerned how well training would go for him! Boone came home a new dog! Walks with him are now a pleasure. He follows all commands now and now listens to all family members. We have owned many dogs and have had interaction with many dog trainers over the years. Chris is hand down the best we have met!! As soon as you talk with Chris you can see he is a dog guy, very professional, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate about dogs. He trains the owners as much as the dog. Chris is a great guy, you can tell he has a heart for this. He took our dog (Creed) in with open arms. Creed had issues with aggression towards our other dog, and severe anxiety. Chris told us nothing is promised but he will do his best with creed, and we that showed. We got creed back and he was still his rambunctious self, but when it was time to listen creed tightened up and was hyper focused on his commands. No complaints whatsoever. Chris communicates multiple times weekly to give you updates, and is willing to keep your dog an extra week to ensure the training sticks before your dog comes home. 10/10 recommend!

Words cannot explain how thankful my family and I am now that our 5 month old Aussie, Bandit, is obedient and disciplined, yet still just as loving and energetic as before training. I have received so many compliments on his behavior and training with Chris has by far been the best investment I have made in securing a happy and healthy lifestyle for Bandit (and also for my own sanity!). If I could, I would give Chris 20 stars! Look no farther, Chris is who you not only want to train your dog, but NEED to train your dog. Thanks so much again, Chris! Bandit will be back for boarding as soon as we can book a vacation!
