Veterinarians in Pomeroy, OH

“Our dog recently had to have knee surgery, and to say we have high standards when it comes to her care is probably an understatement. She is a very loved member of our family, and putting her care in someone else’s hands—especially for a major surgery—is never easy for us.

We could not have been more pleased with the care she received. I cannot praise the quality of the actual surgery enough. From the moment we picked her up, her incision looked remarkably clean and well cared for, and it has continued to heal beautifully. Dr. Ervin did a wonderful job, and we especially appreciated that he took her pain management seriously and provided the level of medication needed to keep her discomfort to an absolute minimum during those difficult first days of recovery.

The veterinary technicians were equally wonderful. They went above and beyond, generously giving us both their time and their knowledge. They made sure we understood her medications, what to expect during recovery, what to watch for, and how to care for her once we got her home. We never felt rushed when asking questions, and their guidance gave us a tremendous amount of confidence during those first few days after surgery.

When you love an animal as much as we love ours, trusting someone else with their care can be incredibly stressful. Having a skilled surgeon and a team that clearly understood how important she is to us made a difficult experience so much easier.

We are extremely grateful to Dr. Ervin and the entire veterinary team for the excellent care they provided our girl. We would not hesitate to trust them with her care again.”

“These two vets are amazing. We had a dog with severe allergies met with Vet Kelly he recommended a complete change to my dog’s diet and had me read a book to understand. It changed my dog’s world before he was lethargic barely got up and now he plays and runs. Thank you for showing me how to give my dog the best life possible!”
