“I was disappointed to learn today that First National Bank does not follow the industry standard of crediting a customer’s account upon receipt of a wire transfer. Instead, the funds are not made available until the end of the business day—or effectively, the next business day.
Fortunately, my Arizona bank was able to step in and assist with a local financial commitment in Port Clinton that I had intended to fulfill using funds from my First National Bank account.
