The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Reasonable price with a view of the lake and it seemed like there was plenty to do nearby. We only stayed one night because we were traveling.

I'm so mad I didn't read all the reviews about stolen credit card info, the hotel was the only place I have used this card and yup a few days later my card gets maxed out on Amazon, the room was disgusting, the floors filthy and food from probably when the place opened decaying in the bathroom by the shower it was awful and still continues to be an awful experience, fighting to get my card figured out. Highly recommend finding another place to stay!

I love this place every time we go to the lake we stay at the Commodore the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great two bars on site

Didn't stay at the inn but watched Andi Jo Taylor perform at the outdoor bar off the rocks. Service was good

Awesome hotel, friendly staff. Nothing fancy, but just right. They had an adjoining room with a bunk bed and couch so our family of 5 got some great sleep for under $200 per night. The private beach across the street was a nice bonus.

Carpet not in good clean condition. Window blinds some are broke. No breckfast, bars of soap are horrible, no suds. Not good!

I'll start with the good; GREAT location, very friendly staff. We didn't use the pool, bar or restaurant but they looked really nice. The rooms...for the price...HORRIFIC. We were given a first floor room with paper thin walls. We heard EVERYTHING from the adjoining rooms and the hallway, which is between the pool/bar and restaurant that is open to the public, so all night long we heard people going back and forth. Felt unsafe. The rooms were very outdated and maybe clean? It was hard to tell. The room had an old, musty smell. I give the Marketing Person major credit, they did an AMAZING job on the website, making it look well worth the $500 I spent on a 2 night stay... I should've read the reviews first. The location was perfect; close to downtown, the beach and the Jet Express. Thankfully we didn't spend a lot of time in the room.

Bate and switch what was posted on their website was very misleading
requested a room with a queen size bed at the price of $179 instead got a room with two full size beds at $199 and dingy shades that faced an outside wall. No shower mat in tub and no soap. What a very disappointing anniversary. My husband wasted his $$$ believing what he saw the website was what we going to get. Never again!!!😡

For what you pay and have no breakfast crazy.
amenities - wifi not working, tried to use laptop with no success.
What you get is Loud music at night, bad wifi.
You would think this is a commercial business that offers service. You would be wrong.

Sorry asked for ice bucket only to find out they took them out because people kept stealing them the couch in the lobby was supported buy cinder blocks the staff reminded me of the village in Deliverance outside bar catered to locals it seems and the bartender outside seemed to cater more to her local friends the gameroom on otherside of hotel used to be nice but now isn't real concerned about customers , no next time wont be visiting this establishment.

The bed was really uncomfortable, I woke up several times to roll over because wherever you laid your back was sore. They didn't have a comforter, just a sheet. The room service staff was loud, I woke up to them banging on stuff in the next room. The walls were paper thin and could hear cars, golf carts driving outside... you could hear people in the next room talk but hey, they had a pool and a decent location.
Rooms: Smelled like jail, no carpet, patched holes in walls with no paint or wrong paint color. The walls by the bed had 0 outlets, you had to plug anything g in away from the bed, no lamp by the bed.
Noteworthy details: Find a different hotel

Not sure why this place gets some negative reviews; the hotel and rooms are clean, across the street from the beach, and has Mr Ed's attached to it, along with Dock's Beach House across the street. The rates for the rooms are very affordable too. Can't beat it. I think some people just like to complain....

What a great place to stay great staff. If you would have had your pop machines working an in-service you would have got five stars. It was a holiday weekend so get it together next time LOL we'll be back
