Not sure why this place gets some negative reviews; the hotel and rooms are clean, across the street from the beach, and has Mr Ed's attached to it, along with Dock's Beach House across the street. The rates for the rooms are very affordable too. Can't beat it. I think some people just like to complain....

If I could do a no star I would. We have a gift card that expires at the end of this year 2023. We are here with a paid hotel room and wanted to use our gift card to add another room. Today is their last day being open until Christmas sometime. We were denied an additional room. Thus a waste of money spent for a room=money in their pocket and not honoring money spent. Such a shame that a business would do that and pocket the money spent from a customer. We will NEVER waste another cent on their hotel or their bar ever again. Shame on Commodore Perry Inn and Suites.

This was a very inexpensive option and a place to stay. I have everything you need. Including coffee. There is a microwave in a refrigerator provided in the room. The room is very basic. Walmart but it did have a very nice bar and restaurant. The beds are very comfortable and the room was clean.

It was a good experience room was pretty clean. Bed was comfortable. Over all we had a nice stay! My wife and I went up to Port Clinton for the day just to relax and get away! And we had a fun time. The bar at the hotel was a really good time. LoL we had fun!

Would NOT recommend staying here if you plan to relax at the pool with children. The pool is full of drinking adults. The rooms are no frills, clean and provide fridge and microwave. There's a pretty cool outside bar and pool that is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, NOT JUST HOTEL GUESTS. This is a party hotel so pool area extremely crowded. If it were just my husband and I it would've been great. Considering I had a grandchild, it was a poor choice.

Great trip and This was a fun hotel spot for 25 travelers on motorcycles. Nice clean rooms. Fun bar and pool area. Also a bar with pool table, darts, video gaming, bands . Lots of places surrounding this destination and right across the street from Lake Erie. Will be back! Watch out for harmless but tons of mayflies that cover everything during the night and early morning!

Great location!! Service great! Room refrigerator kept making loud knocking sound every few hours including during the night. But overall, really wonderful stay. Loved everything was in walking distance.

We stay here night before we charter fish. We fish with Captain Dave on the weasel 2. We can walk to the boat from our room. Fantastic. The restaurant is great too.Nearby activities: Right next to the boat docks.

What a great place to stay great staff. If you would have had your pop machines working an in-service you would have got five stars. It was a holiday weekend so get it together next time LOL we'll be

Exquisite hotel far from hustle and bustle. We spent a night there as we were in town for an event. Property is gorgeous and well maintained. An oasis really. Staff is friendly and attentive. The pool was fabulous out of a Slim Aarons photo shoot. Did not get to try food as we ate out for most meals. My son enjoyed the gym. Room was small but bathroom brand new with lots of light.

The room was great. However the customer service left much to be desired.

Dead bird on the roof outside our window. The elevator is the slowest moving elevator i have ever been in. The rooms are very plain. But overall I would come

ANGRY - MY 89 YEAR OLD MOTHER FORGOT HER MEDICATION IN THE ROOM and she didn't realize it until we were home. The MANAGER WANTS TO CHARGE $20, PLUS POSTAGE, TO MAIL HER THE MEDICATION!! That is TAKING ADVANTAGE OF AN ELDERLY LADY on a LIMITED INCOME!!BEDS & PARKING - We stayed here while attending a family reunion as did other family members. We paid $229 for a very basic room. BEDS are SMALL and very UNCOMFORTABLE. PARKING IS VERY LIMITED on the weekend since they open their restaurant and bar to others. NO PARKING PRIORITY FOR HOTEL CLIENTS SPENDING THE NIGHT! WE HAD TO PARK AT THE MARINA NEXT DOOR!! It was difficult to turn left out of either parking lot since this is located in a very busy area.DOC'S BOAT HOUSE - Restaurant across the street is owned by the same person. It has a nice deck but was significantly overpriced. My mother was overcharged and we didn't catch it until later. Our families spent a fair amount combined at both facilities. Fish sandwich, fries and drink was $30 prior to tip.NO CURTAINS - There are no curtains on the windows. So, rooms facing the sun are hot and it is difficult for the rooms to cool. When the sun rises, there is no way to darken the room since just blinds cover the window.POOL -The small pool is open to others not staying at the hotel for a fee. Lots of loud drunk people visit the bars onsite.POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - i would not have written this review if the Manager had shown one ounce of consideration for my mother. This is incredibly poor customer service. The hotel and restaurant were both overpriced - they earned enough money from us to cover THEIR $20 HANDLING FEE to return my mother's medication.I WILL ADVISE EVERYONE I KNOW TO FIND OTHER ACCOMMODATIONS AND RESTAURANTS ! PLEASE READ OTHER LOW REVIEWS!

It was okay, parking was a pain. Pricey for what you get, although private beach on lake.
