Antiques in Portsmouth, OH

“We like coming here when we visit family in Kentucky so we can shop and see all the cool and unique things here.

While we will be coming back to Ghosts in the Attic in the future, I do want to point two very minor issues.

1) The store's elevator at the time we visited was not able to be used for the public. There is no handicap access to the upper floors, so I was unfortunately not able to shop the full store on this occasion. In the past, this was made available. I can not walk up the stairs due to issues with my feet. I'm not in a wheelchair, but it's not possible for me to go up more than a few stairs.

2) This is not within the control of the store, but the parking in this area due to all the bars was absolutely horrendous and we had to park two blocks away - which was not ideal due to my slight handicap with my feet. The last time I came here, the bars were not here, and it was a much better experience. The city needs to really reconsider, or build better parking accommodations. There was not one spot on the street that Ghosts in the attic was on, at least not before the one I found 2 blocks away.

I still loved walking around and checking out the things they had for sale.

Picked up a few coins and my wife found a couple of neat things as well.

We'll be back, and despite the elevator and the parking situation, the antique shops are the city's treasure chest - not the bars.”

“Love this place! Beautiful crystals at a great price! All the tumbles were around $1-$3 and the piece of Amethyst was $15 not bad at all! Definitely need to come back and pick up some more and some incense cones because the ones that came with my burner I ordered somewhere online didn’t smell good and I want to give this place’s cones a try.Also the people that own this place are so friendly and nice!”

“I was in Unique Antiques this past Tuesday for the first time. The lady at the desk greeted and welcomedl me immediately. I was in such a rush that I didn't get the chance to make a purchase and told the lady I would be back soon. I must say I saw so many great buys and can't wait to make a day of it this week. If you have not been here you do not know what you are missing!!
It's the biggest, neatest warehouse I've ever been to. Good job , I'm totally impressed!”
