They are always 2-3 days late on delivery i will say that may not be there fault in portsmouth but I will say they have lost several packages some being 250$+ and when I call to see about finding them i just hear about how the driver said he delivered the package but I know thats not true bc I have cameras and I never get a notification that anyone came so ether they are delivering to the wrong address and won't admit it or someone is stealing packages which is sad bc usps should be the best shipping service in the country but everything i see they are handling my packages I just sigh and hope it actually makes it to my door i went ahead and just gave up on the idea of it being on time

Worst service ever Every month my ssi check has been late in the mail supposed to be in the mailbox the 1st and it doesn't show up til the 3rd or 5th which is stupid

Their was issues with some packages and I was irritated but I'll give them credit
They went out of their way to hunt them down and find them for me. And we found d and fixed the problem for the future one.

Item was stated to have already been delivered and the haven't even appeared. My living room is a direct site to the driveway and our cameras are at the doorway facing mailbox and driveway. They turned it into amazon that it was delivered and I paid to have it today for a damn reason! Fix it now!

it’s been over a month and my mailbox lock has not been changed. i’ve been in the portsmouth location severalllllll times asking when it’s gonna get done and have gotten no answers

This mailman or Mail woman has always left my packages on my porch and never no problem, well now this mailman puts my mail in my mailbox today and doesn't get out the truck to leave my package and takes it back to post office that is ridiculous and laziness this is in West Portsmouth

In 2024 alone, I’ve had 5 packages lost or never delivered due to the USPS. I’ve lost way to much for this. My money is important. I don’t give it freely. I can’t. I’m a teacher. Had a package supposed to be here between the 2nd of Aug and the 6th. It’s the 10th and still no package. I am so tired of losing stuff because they cannot do their job.

Way to be a day late on a time sensitive item. And great job following instructions. Literally filed a service request for me to pick up said package first thing in the morning instead of waiting until end of day for slow unprioritizing on a prioritized package. Guess what else usps can't accomplish besides delivering on time? Following simple instructions. Id leave 0 to drag the rating down further but that doesn't accomplish what I desire

Has been withholding mail. They had delivered here for years and just stopped one day. Have been told the first time due to a address not being on the the mailbox (it had worn off and was immediately fixed and an additional sign was added), then we were told we did not know how to write our delivery address (we simply had to point to the package to disprove that), then our neighbor put their mail on hold and because it’s an apartment unit they canceled the whole property, and now it is once again my mail being held over the weekend until they open back up on Monday.

We love our hometown post office. They are always very helpful and courteous. Don’t believe the reviews of the negative people, they probably were having a bad day and mistook their own attitude for a PO problem. I’ve NEVER seen or heard anyone be rude and were in there all the time.

Everytime I see that my package is being delivered by USPS I cringe because I know it's going to be a nightmare. 2 packages delivered to the wrong address in 2 months. I get mail for like 5 different people that I have no idea who they are and when I ask they post office they say they will fix it yet it continues

Sitting, waiting and watching all day for a package to arrive. No way at all I would miss this package being delivered. It was a Sunday. Tracking had showed that it was out for delivery. All day all I seen was one beat up looking mail truck. For some reason had two silhouettes of persons in it. Going up the highway in front of me. Minutes later it comes back down the highway in front of me. Turns off the highway. Passes me! Then takes a right and heads straight back towards the post office. I live two blocks from the post office. Next thing you know it being around 3: 30p.m. orso. I get a message saying that there was an attempt to deliver my package at 5:14 p.m. and as I said here it was only a little after 3:30 p.m.. then it switched from being 5:14 p.m. to where they attempted at 2:14 p.m. And that I could go pick it up at the post office. Give me these different numbers to call. I was informed once again to go pick it up at the post office today monday. I go to pick up the package early in morning. Just to be told that it's back out on delivery. So now I got to be stuck waiting for this package to make sure I'm actually going to get it. Meaning I have to put aside other issues needing taken care of. Well I can assure you there was no attempt to deliver this package whatsoever! And there was no note left anywhere to notify me personally from the post office that there had been an attempt to deliver. Well conveniently I get this what seems to be the latest fad for excuses about everywhere you go these days. And that excuse is. Well also we've been having issues. Our systems were down for bit! And a lot of packages didn't make it out in the first place. Well geez! How do you argue with something like that? I legit watched the guy/TWO GUY'S/postal carrier passed me 3 times! Seems they don't want to hear that though. So I'll wait to see when and how this all turns out and how my package arrives. And update this post.
