I do not have the time to state how horrible of a bank this is. Take you business to any bank on the planet other than here. No matter how well the market or sell you, run away because it is just lies to sell to you.Just horrible all I can say!

Do not get a mortgage loan through this company. Has been an awful 2 years just simply trying to make my monthly payments! Amir is the only person who has been helpful. Every other person I have spoken to either asks me to pay the wrong amount or cannot answer simple questions. (My payment has not changed in 2 years.) Absolutely terrible company. Cannot wait to sell my house and never deal with this company again.

Really slow at taking payments. They charge you to make it then take a week to take the money. I paid off my car and wanted the title. It's crazy. Their system is constantly down.

I was new to the area and had not used Buckeye State Bank before. Even without having a history at the bank, their services were excellent. I worked with Eric Anderson to get a mortgage as a first-time home buyer. His patience and clarity when answering my many questions and concerns were essential. He also recommended an excellent realtor to me, Shannon Grimm, which was key in finding the right home. Eric was extremely responsive and accessible throughout the mortgage process and went above and beyond to make sure I understood the details and felt confident in my decisions. Other members of the mortgage team helped me through all the complexities of the application and made each step as smooth and easy as possible. We were even able to close ahead of schedule. I highly recommend working with Eric and his colleagues at Buckeye State Bank in Powell.

This bank is amazing! I walk through the door, everyone know me, the business, and my family. Did an SBA loan with them and it was perfect. Everyone is professional and friendly. Never had one issue with this bank. If you are a business owner, this is your new bank. Make the switch, it is a very smart business decision.

It would be my personal recommendation to steer clear. Check/recheck your disclosures before signing anything. I was quoted (in writing) a buy down to a 2.99% interest rate for $200. Come to find out, they LIED and it actually cost me $1,100+.No reconciliation (as of yet) from bank managers.The company has been very disorganized and poor communication from the start of the loan process. Nothing was explained to me, documents were never gone over (which is why I missed the $1,100 charge for the interest rate - which, they don't want to explain anything to you because they know they are cheating you), wiring instructions were given to me just hours before closing and I was asked several times for things (i.e. documents) that I had already provided to them. I could go on and on. . .I was told by one person that she would check in with me daily to provide status updates. Did that happen? Nope.I had to CONSTANTLY check-in to make sure they were doing their jobs. I am almost certain that if I wasn't so proactive, we would have never made it to the closing table - or, would have been much more delayed than what we already were.Awful, awful experience. Not to mention the loan processor told me he could close my loan in 2 weeks (we closed in 49+ days later). I don't close on homes everyday. How was I to know that he was lying? He wanted my business so he lied to get me to use this bank.Question everything that this bank says. If it doesn't feel right - go with your gut. This bank has caused me a lot of heartache over the last 49+ days.You'll likely see a manager post next asking me to reach out to discuss this experience to save face. I'll be sure to update this posting if a resolution has been met. Based on my experience, they will never follow up.
