An employee literally didn't know what a dolly was.
I was taken by the what seemed 15 year old to the shopping carts instead of where appliance dollies were. Lmfao

I had the pleasure of meeting Bill in the appliance department today. I had already spent days researching refrigerators and decided I would order from the manufacturers website. I stopped in and met Bill. Bill was the best. He was so helpful! I normally shy away from people during these transactions, but he was extremely knowledgeable, transparent, and kind of fun just to meet. Hire more Bills!

$1700 in damage to my dad's car! One of the plant stands by the building rolled away into his car and broke the grill. Not a cart left by a customer, one of the giant rolling stands with plants just outside the garden center. What is Home Depot's response? "Not our problem" Seriously?! Your display was not properly secured and damaged someone's car! They gave us the run-around for weeks and at the end of the day just don't care. $1700!!!.... Ridiculous and unacceptable. You just lost customers for life. Time to start shopping at Lowes.
Update: Went to the link they provided below, filled out the form, and they quickly replied with ”We stand by our previous decision”. Their reply below was nothing more than an attempt to save face online. They have no plan to do the right thing.

It is an absolute nightmare to do business here. Product crowding entry/exit and docks. Constant tension between truckers, cars, and maintenence crews. Many pallets damaged by semi's. Of the 100 Home Depots I've visited, this has topped #1 as the worst in all categories.

Dave in garden and lawn was amazing! If you need help in that section be sure to ask for him. Very friendly gentleman and points you in the right direction. Just from the experience we had, we will ask for him by name. Thank you, Dave. You are a genuine nice person. I hope the store manager told you that we complimented you on the way out

Usually, it has what I need for good prices. Has the flowers, plants, and bushes the wife likes to buy for around the house. Really helpful when getting blinds cut for the windows.

I am all over central Ohio almost every day, but this is my favorite Home Depot- especially to get keys made.

It's retail, as with other brick and morter businesses now adays, short staffed. Word of advice, if you are getting lumber, or other multiple heavy items, bring a buddy or 2 and buy them lunch and have them help you
