Tax prep initial cost was $485 was able to get a discount. The bigger problem was they claimed I owed the fed $7000 I then reviewed it and found a error they fixed it when I had them check reduce the owed amount to less than $400. Don't recommend.

The receptionist Laurie or Lori was AWFUL, horrific. I’ve never been treated so rudely in my entire life. She followed me outside and CURSED at me!!!! It was an awful awful experience. We’ve been H&R costumers for 15+ years and we will never go back. Lost our business!!!!

Super great experience working with David Holt at H&R Block in Powell. Highly recommend, he went above and beyond and found tax credits we should have received last year that our prior provider did not find. Hands down plan to work with him again next year!

If you are a independent contractor, just don't. And Don't drop them off for them to be done either, always better to be there in person so you see and can have all information put in.

Would never recommend going here. Especially never book with Zoe . I booked my appointment month ago . Got weekly annoying txt messages to confirm my appointment. I got there 15 mins early today . To find out Zoe over booked herself and sense I was new customer she couldn’t do my taxes was going to do other customers. Zoe in the meantime was leaving out of the country so couldn’t do mine . But I could leave my taxes and she could see if anyone else has time . Like I’d leave my taxes with someone the can’t even book appointments right . Seems to be a common problem with this place . Will never be back .

I am furious over the treatment of my son, a first timer at your office, by David. We made the appointment with David well over a month ago for 7:00 pm Monday and received annoying weekly reminder calls and texts about the appointment.My son arrived 5 minutes early. He waited a half hour. David came out to greet another client, saw my son sitting there but did not acknowledge him. RUDE, SNOBBY and UNPROFESSIONAL.Zoe finally came out and told my son that David was double-booked and that she could do his taxes. She is wonderful, she does my taxes. This 1 star rating is for David, not Zoe.I am angry that, somehow, David was double-booked...how does that happen??? And angrier still at how he treated my son. Shame on him and shame on your office for hiring someone so rude. We pay a fortune to get our taxes done there. The service should be top-notch.
