I have been working for The Nest Schools Powell for over two years and love it! They have a great play based program, enrichments classes, and a great group of teachers. I am also pregnant with my first child and will be sending him there when he is old enough. Not only am I excited that my son can come to work with me, but I know he will be getting quality care.

The Nest Schools in Shawnee Hills is amazing! My kids are excited to go everyday and love their teachers! The amount of effort that the staff puts into lessons and activities is much greater than other centers we’ve attended. You can tell how much they care and it’s wonderful to see the growth in my children! The administration is also so kind and responsive. The school is also undergoing very exciting renovations with new classrooms and a huge new playground. My son has loved the new spaces. I can’t say enough good things about The Nest Schools!

The Nest School had provided my 3 children with a wonderful, supportive and nurturing environment for them to learn, make mistakes, develop and grow. The teachers have been the most caring and enthusiastic role models for my kids, gotten to know each one individually and encouraged them to be exactly who they are. My oldest just started K and I have been told that he has a “great foundational understanding” of the material. Lastly, the administration has been more than accommodating to our family’s needs as it shifts regularly. I have been thrilled with the Nest School and feel lucky to have landed my kids in such a great community

Makayla is amazing! I love her. She is super funny and energetic. I love her as my teacher. She is perfect for her job.- Wyatt, who requested to write his own review (9 years old)Both of my children have attended The Nest since November 2014 (previously The Oxford School). My youngest son had a seizure while in their care and they were very prompt in calling the ambulance and myself. They were also very attentive during this time in what I needed for him as I climbed in the back of the ambulance. I can not recommend them enough.

The nest school is a very welcoming environment for ALL kids. The staff puts the child needs first and works their best with the child, his family and his aids to improve the weakness and emphasize the strength. My child bloomed in this school. Was very loved and taken care off.

We have had three sons attend this school. All of them have had an amazing experience. We have had some wonderful teachers, phenomenal curriculum, creative enrichment classes, and great friendships made! We love the Nest!

The best schools is an amazing place, the enrichment program has helped both of my children grow. The learn and through play helps them still be kids while learning everything they need to know. All the teachers I have encountered are super friendly and love the kids they work with.

As an employee I love The Nest and it's values. As a substitute I worked in many centers and The Nest is by far the best I have worked in, so much so that I accepted a permanent position a little over a year ago!

I love the nest school! My child attends and they make it feel like family! I even quit my old job to come and work here because of the environment and curriculum! I love how friendly and attentive the staff are and I feel safe especially with the app where I can check on her through out the day!

Our 2 kids have attended The Nest for 3 years. Our children have thrived at The Nest since day 1. The teachers, support staff and management are incredible. A true test of a well-run daycare is the tenure of the staff - most of the teachers our kids started with are still there today and the management has been in place since the beginning.Amenities are great (outdoor play space, indoor play space, brand new room seating/activities, supplies, etc), kids are kind to one another, teachers treat kids with care and respect. Great space, great people.
