By far the worst experience ive ever had with a mechanic. I had my vehicle towed there from ntb and was promised they would beat the $1000 estimate i had at ntb to change my alternator. They lied about when the tow truck would arrive to start. I was told the tow truck would be there within 1-1.5 hours. 4.5 hours later they showed up. I called 3x prior to 5pm. No answer. I called again at 5:12 as they closed at 6 and was hoping for an update. Emily informed me she knew nothing of my estimate request and that my vehicle had just shown up at their shop so no one would be getting to an estimate till the next day but I should expect a call between 8 and 9am. That never came so I called after 9am. Sean(the manager) told me the estimate for the alternator would be $925 but that there was also a gasket leaking oil above the alternator that needed fixed. That was the probable cause of the alternator failing. That would bring my total to $1,400 to fix. Now they knew I was a single mom on a tight budget as I informed them day 1. I requested remade parts or whatever would bring the cost down. I couldn't do $1,400 so I had them tow it to a shop i found near my work. This is where they really shined. The mechanic who put my alternator in informed me there was no leak at all, he even showed me the failed alternator. Not a drop of oil in sight. So sean lied and tried to swindle a single mom out of almost $500 for a made up problem. Shady is an understatement. Im reporting to the BBB as well. Im thankful honest mechanics still exist and this one got my alternator fixed for HALF the price. Dont waste your time or money going here.

I had engine noise and the technician was able to figure out the noise and fix it. I just felt bad about overcharging. They charged 50 $ for 20$ parts and 3 hours of labor for what seemed like a 1 hour job. If you are on tight budget, this is not the place. They have a great lounge area where I took online meetings etc while waiting for my vehicle. I would not go again, but I am pleased with the service, unhappy with the cost, and very happy with the lounge area.

I highly recommend going to Wayne’s Auto Repair shop. Everyone is friendly and they do a great job. They are reasonably priced and don’t try to talk you into getting repairs you don’t need at the time.

I'm from a small town and my family always took our vehicles to a local family owned business. When I moved to Columbus, I was concerned about finding a honest, professional and experienced business who I could depend on to take care of my car. Well, I found it at Wayne's!!
